I'm completely out of ideas at this point, so I'm hoping someone here has seen this before.

System:

• Lenovo LOQ 2025
• AMD Ryzen 7
• RTX 5050 Laptop GPU (8GB GDDR7)
• 24GB RAM
• Windows 11
• Latest NVIDIA Game Ready Driver
• Game Pass / Microsoft Store version of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33

Problem:
The game crashes with an Unreal Engine popup saying "PresentInternal() failed."

Originally it would only get to the epilepsy warning before crashing then I put the event viewer tool as the focus window with the game behind it and it seemed to work as it started moving beyond the warning then as soon as I closed it then it instantly crashed on one run it went all the way to the opening cinematic and then I alt tabbed out and then on again and again the same crash... It seems to be related to the focus window in some manner.

Event Viewer:

• Faulting application: SandFall-WinGDK-Shipping.exe
• Faulting module: KERNELBASE.dll
• Exception code: 0x00004000

Things I've already tried:

• Reinstalled the game completely.
• Verified and repaired game files.
• Updated to the latest NVIDIA driver.
• Switched between Hybrid mode and dGPU-only mode in Lenovo Vantage.
• Disabled Discord Hardware Acceleration and Overlay.
• HDR is OFF.
• Windows Dynamic Refresh Rate is OFF.
• No MSI Afterburner, RTSS, ReShade, Special K, or other overlay/injection software installed.
• Restarted multiple times.

The weird part is that my laptop seems completely fine otherwise.

Games that work without issues:

• VALORANT (UE5)
• Control
• Subnautica 2
• Minecraft (mostly)

Because of that, I don't think the GPU itself is faulty.

Has anyone seen this specific PresentInternal() failed error on the Game Pass version or with RTX 50-series laptops?

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated because I'm completely stuck at this point. Keep in mind that this is a pretty new laptop but to bios and basically everything else is up to date!

The provisional letter says that the tentative date for admission is 13th July (reporting time) but it is different for each branch right? Now my parents dont need to stay longer than they have to so my question is regarding the exact date the induction program for core cse students or at least how it is on average like comparison with the last 3 years any help will be appreciated!
Edit-It literally came like an hour ago, for core cse students it is 15th july (induction date)

Yo everybody I need some help, I'm considering my options rn and vit vellore is one of them. It seems like a decent college but people report a very strict campus Life but I feel like most videos just narrate the rules, so can anyone help me here and tell me how it's really like? Can u not converse with the opposite gender at all? And overall is it fun or very strict cause most videos on the internet just narrate rules and that doesnt tell me anything at all !
