I turned $263 of groceries into $88 - Albertsons/SafeWay/Vons

I was tired of spending $200+ a week on groceries for 2 people, so I finally started actually using the Albertsons app instead of just walking in and shopping. Groceries in Los Angeles are insane right now.

If you have an Albertsons/Safeway/Vons near you, check the weekly ad and clip the “For U” deals before ordering. I stacked the sales, digital coupons, and a promo code and got a $260 cart down to $88. Ended up with 60 items including steaks, cheese, cereal, yogurt, fruit, vegetables, and a bunch of other name brand stuff.

Most of the discounts don’t apply automatically, which I didn’t realize before. Took maybe 10 minutes to go through the app and saved me almost $180. Definitely worth checking before paying full price on groceries now.

Hyeseong Kim wins the roster battle over Freeland

Alex Freeland getting optioned to OKC pretty much confirms the Dodgers trust Hyeseong Kim right now. With Mookie coming back, they kept Kim over Freeland for the MLB roster spot, which says a lot this early in the season.

Kim’s glove and contact-first approach have already made an impact, and the idea of Kim at short with Mookie at second could quietly turn into a really strong middle infield combo. Freeland will definitely be back, but this feels like a big vote of confidence in Kim.

$20 Costco hydrangeas look absolutely stunning

Picked these up at Costco yesterday in Los Angeles for $20 and honestly couldn’t believe how full and healthy they looked. Tons of blooms, deep blue color, and even came in a decent pot already

My new employer is a fully drug free company, even in a state where THC is fully legal and delivered to your door. I've been a daily smoker for the last 6 years so my system was full of THC. Got quick fix plus at a local smoke shop for $18. I have a few pairs of boxers with pockets on them so I just put the bottle and heating pad in those pockets, wore some loser fitting jeans and it was like nothing was there. Checked in, 10 minutes later I was called in. The nurse had me empty my pockets and go into the bathroom alone. Took the bottle out, shook it as quietly as I could and filled the cup up to the line. Spilled some in the toilet for good measure too lol. Took it out, the nurse packaged it up, and I was sent my final onboarding docs on Monday. Quick fix for the win!

I’ve been on Vyvanse (40mg, now 50mg) for just over 2 years. I’ve been on and off Zoloft during that time, but recently got back on 25mg due to some major life changes. Overall, I adjusted well with minimal side effects.

The issue has been sleep. I’ve been waking up around 3AM and tossing and turning until my alarm. I tried 150mg Trazodone, but it didn’t really help. My doctor recently prescribed 15mg Remeron to take with Zoloft for sleep.

I took it for the first time Monday night and slept great, but the next day was rough. My thoughts felt all over the place, I had random yawning spells every few minutes, and by the end of the workday I felt completely drained and out of it. It honestly felt like too much going on mentally with all three meds.

I haven’t taken the Remeron since, and I feel back to normal now. I actually feel great lol

Has anyone else experienced something similar with this combination? Does that next-day fog/overload feeling go away after a few days, or is this a sign it’s just not a good fit for me?

Would appreciate any insight. My psych swears by this combo so I'm doing my own research before my appointment in a week
