Why it's so hard to "let go," like most teachers suggest
We have the wrong definition held by our subconscious minds: "Letting go of an object you were once holding."
So because of that definition, we conclude that letting go means "I won't have it anymore." Or, "That means I don't care if I manifest it or not." So we won't consider it.
The term "letting go" used in manifesting discussions has unconsciously made us avoid doing it out of fear we'd sabotage our manifestation. But the truth is that you don't need to hold onto what's already held onto and won't disconnect until it manifests.
What letting go really means: Stopping conscious involvement and trusting your subconscious mind with the manifestation process.
After you imagine what you want like it's already yours, together with that burning desire underpinning it, your subconscious mind races to manifest what you're claiming to already have. It will tell you if any action is needed and if certain steps are needed: you want a new sp and you get invited to Sue's party. Your subconscious arranged that, then urges you to accept, go to the party, and that's when you manifest the perfect sp you imagined. The only effort you made was imagining it!
When you don't trust your subconscious mind to do what it does (with an outstanding success rate of 100%), you get thoughts of doubt, impatience, and urges to help it along. That means RESISTANCE and your subconscious mind stops the process till you can figure out if you HAVE it (like you first imagined) or not. That's when "letting go" should be done which means allowing and trusting your subconscious mind.
You won't need to let go if you never get involved with the process and function of the subconscious mind. It's the tool that bridges you between what you want and getting it.
Gps does the same thing. It's the tool that bridges you between where you are and where you want to go. You DESIRE to go on a trip and you set your gps for the END GOAL, and you TRUST the gps to do its job and guide you every step of the way.
