I just switched my bank account for SSDI and I said for it to take effect in June 2026. I checked today and it said it is for May 3rd 2026. I switched it on Saturday. Does anyone know how long it takes for bank account switching for direct deposit to take effect?
Also, can I put my money in my husbands account that I'm not on or do I have to be on it? Confused since we are married.
