Guys that have daughters

Do you expect your daughter to be cleaner than you and her partner?

I'm asking because all of my life my dad has tried, and still does now but he's got different reasons now good ones too, to engrave into my head that because I'm a girl that I should be cleaner than him.

Growing up and being raised by a single dad, I was not clean. Even though I did try to be as clean as he expected it still wasn't good enough for him. So yes he did get after me a lot.

Yes we did have a falling out. Yes I did runaway from home but to my dad, he kicked me out by than I was already an adult and without a job at the time.

I was thankful to my cousin, who came and picked me up, and his wife for taking me in and let me live there with there family.

So me, the wife and cousin had a serious talk. Then my cousin went to visit my dad and they also talked for awhile.

Then me, the wife and cousin also talked again and my cousin said some of the things my dad had said and it kinda hurt too, but I got over it.

I had the biggest room in the house and failed to keep it clean.

So my cousin and his wife went over to my dad's house with cleaning supplies and trash bags and cleaned out my entire room (dad is the one that gave away all my stuff). Needless to say, they were disappointed in me but mostly mad at my dad.

My cousin and his wife didn't just see a very dirty room, but they also saw signs of depression too.

Signs of depression that either my dad did see and chose to ignore or he just didn't recognize the signs at all and just saw a very dirty room.

So living with my cousin's family. I saw things were different with them in a good way. For the first time I said to myself "wow, this is what a family is like".

They taught me things that I should have known and watch what I say.

Oh and they also believed that my dad may have abused me even though he never hit me, just the constant threats like kicking me out, shaving all my hair off and spray painting my back if I showed skin.

I had it good with them, but I kept screwing things up. Anyway, the wife had some homework and started asking around on how to get me an ID and she had some help.

Next thing I know, I ending up getting a job.

So now, I'm currently living with my dad again but things are a lot better now between us. We still argue and he still says some mean things but later apologizes (although sometimes it still feels like he actually means it).

I don't have the biggest room anymore and I'm fine with it. But my room is still kinda messy, just not as bad as before.

But I'm trying to be better and cleaner.

Correct me if I'm wrong (usa)

Sssooooo correct me if I'm wrong about this lady being a Karen.

This lady came through the drive thru and had ordered her food and I guess an ice cream too. So I'm not sure how long Karen had been waiting for her meal (even though she got her ice cream).

But apparently to Karen the workers were taking too long and started honking her car horn multiple times in the drive thru. So I'm not sure if she parked herself at the front or if someone told her too, but she was p*$$ed off.

While she was still in the car all mad. She was still honking her horn, cussing and yelling saying I didn't get my meal. I'm pretty sure we all heard her inside the building.

No one knew where the ruckus was coming from until I pointed to the lady outside. One of the girls was gonna go outside but didn't and told the manager that Karen didn't get her meal.

So another girl came walking by us, with Karen's meal, and said "some people just don't know how to be adults" and gave Karen her food.

The girl came back in and before the door closed Karen said something that I didn't hear and said "f**king idiots, now my ice cream is melted".

I gotta give the girl who gave Karen her food props because I'm pretty I would've just thrown it at her for being that way because we have other customers too.

What drinks can I have at McDonald's that won't raise my a1c and give me high blood sugar?

I'm a type 2 diabetic person. I just found out that drinking coffee creamer can have an effect on insulin. I'm not sure how but I think the creamer kicks out/rejects the insulin (I'm not sure because I don't take insulin...so far, so I've been doing ok).

So I recently started drinking black coffee. What I'd like to know is what coffee can I drink in the mornings at McDonald's that won't raise my a1c and blood sugar? Also, I was told that eating a lot of sugar can make you blind and that drinking diet coke does affect the A1C.
