Sigma MC-21 - update the firmware ONLY via an L-mount camera and Sigma EF-mount lens?

So just checking/verifying what I've read...

The only way to update the firmware in the Sigma EF-to-L MC-21 adapter, is via (in my case) my S5ii body with a Sigma EF-mount lens attached to the MC-21?

I ask because I only have Canon EF lenses right now.

Thanks...

iPhone 12 - wifi texts not working

Switched from Verizon to USM (warp) a couple months ago.

When I am at home (with a good cell signal), and the phone automatically switches to wifi, texts (SMS or iMessages) do not send/receive, unless I manually turn wifi off.

Any ideas?

Thanks...

Can't find the updated firmware for the 100-500?

I've seen mention of at least one firmware update for the 100-500, but even after looking and looking, and looking and looking - can't find it.

And are their updated firmwares for the 1.4 and 2.0 TC's?

Anyone know anything about it? Thanks...,

USM - please send sim card number to new customer when order is placed.

I ordered a home phone kit to port an existing landline from Xfinity to USM. Apparently that particular type of port takes about a week for some reason.

Because of that, I wanted to get the port started right away - but - there's no way for the customer to start porting until they know the new SIM number, and, there's no way to know the new SIM number until the home phone kit arrives.

That's too bad, as it adds several days of waiting time to get the USM home phone working.

I'd think it easy(?) for someone somewhere to post that sim card number on the customer's dashboard? Or email it?

Or better yet, make the port part of the purchase process (or at least make it an option), and get all that done it all at once.

My two cents...

Port from USM "home phone" to cellular or Google Voice?

I'd like to move my mom's home phone line (currently with Xfinity home phone) to USM "home phone", but I just want to make sure it can be ported back out to cellular, Google Voice, etc, if need be.

Thanks...

Hi folks...

I don't need the weather proofing on the zippers and would rather have easy-pull zippers. What's the best way, if any, to remove the PU coating on the zippers?

Thanks....
