Whataburger

Is the one on Douglas the slowest or are all of them slow? It took 25 minutes from the time I placed my order to get my food. All I ordered was two kid meals and a burger. Two cars behind me got their orders before me and the one right behind me left without getting their food I think. They always seem so slow, so I am just curious if it’s just that one or all of them.

Daily Calendar Strip - August 11, 2026

This one made me laugh just thinking of 40 beagles in a choir singing in a chapel, so I had to share it here too.

Current Parking Situation

Are all of the purple sections really reserved parking and the black is the only general parking?

ADAM DRIVER FOR BURBERRY HERO, A NEW FRAGRANCE FOR MEN

This might be the most Adam-coded commercial ever. I choose to believe this is in the Girls universe after he “made it big”.

Millennial Dude Starter Kit

Here is a very small piece of my collection that I picked up from my mom’s house awhile back. Hope I have the Flubber case somewhere in my garage.

Does anybody else have the, maybe irrational, fear of tearing/rupturing your Achilles? I am coming up on three years post second ACL reconstruction, and besides the little fear in the back of my mind of re-tearing always, I have this fear that I’ll somehow do the Achilles too. It comes from seeing athletes doing it in ways that don’t seem so “active” or hearing stories of guys jumping off their couches celebrating their team winning.

If anyone has hurt their Achilles, did you have any signs before it happened? I’ve heard of calf tightness, but not many other direct links to the injuries.

Anything that can be done to prevent or lessen the probability of the injury?
