Tuya has been a little on the fritz for me lately. I'm at a point where I'm restarting the app almost daily and sometimes twice or more a day. I've reinstalled the whole thing twice.

I'm not exactly stoked for the prospect of having to replace every tuya switch and socket in our house. Not just because of the cost, but also the effort as a lot of them are in the walls.

So my questions are:

Is anyone else suffering like this?

Does anyone have a more lasting solution than just constantly restarting the app?

Ik ben autistisch, mijn partner heeft ADD, ons huis is niet altijd even netjes. Ik heb een robotstofzuiger met een schema en dat schema hou ik me aan, dus de vloer is in elk geval kruimelvrij genoeg om met blote voeten op te lopen.

Ik kom net uit een burnout en in de twee jaar dat ik ziek was heeft mijn partner naast een voltijd baan ook het huishouden moeten overnemen. Daardoor is er nogal wat achterstallig onderhoud aan badkamer en keuken qua schoonmaken (ja, ik vind dat ook best genant om op te schrijven).

Nu ik weer beter ben, merk ik wel dat onze neurodivergenties leiden tot een groezeliger huis dan ik eigenlijk zou willen. Het stofzuigen gebeurt dus wel, maar poetsen, stoffen, ramen lappen en zo, dat schiet erbij in. Nu ben ik elke keer pas aan het poetsen als er iemand langskomt of als de viezigheid me te wanhoop drijft. Dat is niet handig.

We willen eigenlijk al heel lang iemand die bij ons komt poetsen, 1 keer in de week of zo. Gewoon dat iemand een lap door de keuken en badkamer haalt, zou al zo veel helpen.

MAAR. Dan komt er dus iemand in mijn huis. Dan moet ik aangekleed zijn en rechtop zitten. En wat doe ik dan terwijl die persoon hard aan het werk is? Ik loop normaal in een hemdje en een pyjamabroek, zonder BH of iets. Dat kan natuurlijk niet. Ik werk vanuit mijn luie stoel, met mijn voeten op de poef. Dat kan natuurlijk ook niet. En ik wil zeker niet iemand alleen in mijn huis laten terwijl ik er niet ben.

We hebben een tuinvrouw en als zij er is, ben ik op de slaapkamer tot ze weer weg is, maar dat is ook niet handig met iemand die komt poetsen.

TL;DR: Ik wil graag weten hoe andere autisten ermee omgaan als de hulp in de huishouding rondloopt.

This intro has been trending for a while now on TikTok. It started perfectly fine with just "I'm gonna hold your hand while I say this" and then some hot take, or whatever.

But it's now morphed into this terrible joke of naming a sexually loaded body part and then stopping whatever they're saying with a leery look. "I'm gonna hold your tits when I say this... Hmmmm" and the like. I was scrolling and some dude looks straight into the camera and goes "I'm gonna hold your clit while I say this" 🫪

Hi. I've searched Google, the homey forums and here, but it seems my google-fu is failing me. Apologies if this is super obvious.

I'm wondering about how often flows that check certain values are (re)started?

I have a flow that checks the lumen level a motion sensor gets and turns indoor lights on or off accordingly. But if I turn off the light manually it takes longer than the 1 minute delay I've set (to prevent disco effects when there's clouds drifting by) to turn back on.

Another example: I want the upstairs AC to turn on when the bedroom temp gets above a certain value AND the window is closed. If the window is open, send me a message "shall I turn on the AC with an x amount of delay?"

But if I then say no to that, will I then be spammed with the same message over and over again? Because the temperature is still higher than the trigger point and the window is still open.

TL;DR: is there somewhere I can check (or manipulate) the repetion frequency of flows that aren't started by a day/time?
