I didn’t think we would ever see any drama on this soap.

Today was actually good‼️

I think Andre is going to leave Dani, and with good reason. Why the hell is she sniffing around Bill like a lost puppy?

It didn’t take much for Hayley to start singing like a canary. She threw Randy under the bus with a quickness. Now she might have a problem with Leslie…and I’m here for it.

Why in the world couldn’t Bill have Hayley/Val checked out by his PI from the jump? I don’t even understand. 🤦🏽‍♀️

I like his character, but if Hayley goes down she is likely going to take him with her. 🤦🏽‍♀️

Will Mona come save him with her Bible and holy water?

Will he turn on Hayley?

Is Joey going to use his card with Vernon to save him?

There is potential with his character. Tying him to Hayley was a mistake.

This is just a heads up.

I’m stepping away from the sub and this show for a while.

My financial advisor told me I need to get out and enjoy my money. I agree, which is why I’m taking off for a tour of Asia.

I’ll still check modmail and respond to questions/reports etc, but otherwise I’m going to be ghost for a while. We have another mod on this sub…though she is largely silent. You can reach out to her as well.

As for the petition…I sat down to write it and ended up saying fuck it. I’m not sure it’s worth the time and energy. I’m not sure it will even make a difference.

I have better things I can do with my time while on PTO.

I’m sorry to disappoint some people who may have been looking forward to it. If someone else wants to run with the idea feel free to do so.

It’s time for us, the fans, to take our discontent about this show public.

I’m going to sit down and write up a petition.

I’m going to send it to CBS, P&G, NAACP, all the major media outlets, TMZ, all the major soap opera websites, etc.

If you are happy with this show this is not your fight. Move along…

As for everyone else, I’m going to post the petition on this sub and on Change.org. Show your support by sharing it and signing it.

And before I get the inevitable, “We need to support this black soap, its actors, crew, etc….”

Just remember MVJ told us she doesn’t give a damn what we think. So, it’s fuck her all day for me. If she ends up losing her job maybe her ass needs to think twice about biting the hands that feeds her (I.e., the viewers/fans).

As of right now one report of a post or comment sends said post/comment into moderation.

These posts and comments are completely removed until they can be reviewed by a moderator.

This will be changing.

It will now take a specific (undisclosed) number of reports for these things to come down.

Why?

Because there are some assholes who are abusing the report function.

Rather than reporting things that actually break this sub’s rules (or those of Reddit) they are reporting posts/comments they simply don’t like or disagree with.

For example, the recent post about Joey being the main character was reported and automatically removed. I approved it, and put it back up.

There was nothing offensive or inappropriate about the post.

Discussing uncomfortable subjects doesn’t make a post or comments inappropriate. If reading or discussing these things bothers you it’s best you don’t read or contribute to said posts.

It’s that simple.

If someone is flat out spouting something racist etc by all means report them or better yet simply message the mods.

I have tried to create a safe and welcoming environment for everyone. Regardless of race, ideologies, etc everyone is welcomed here.

With that said, I think people need to be real with themselves about the various elephants in the room when it comes to this specific daytime soap.

Race and racism is going to come up. It is inevitable…especially in today’s world.

If discussing these things makes you uncomfortable you need to remove yourself or avoid posts and comments that do discuss these things.

Remember when the Kat stans used to come to this sub and shout, “Kat just wants to be left alone…”

It’s clear as day Kat is moving in on Eva’s man. We, the audience, can see it. Eva can see it.

Kat’s relationship with Tomas was doomed from the start. It was dry as hell. His dick wasn’t popping. He was opportunistic. And she was too prideful to admit that the dude who slept with her sister wasn’t it.

Now we see her moving in on Eva’s territory and I’m not here for it.

I’m over the back and forth between these two.

Many of us are so badly soured on the nasty negative rivalry that we wish the dumbass writers would stop writing them in each other’s orbit period.

Kat has known Izaiah presumably for years. Why make her/him interested in each other now….when he is her sister’s man?

After Allison supposedly kidnapped Chelsea we, the viewers, never saw any sort of conclusion.

Only recently (last week) have we learned the woman ended up in a mental ward

We never saw a trial.

We never saw her stand before a judge.

We never knew what became of her until last week.

This is the nonsense I hate about the writing on this show. It is disjointed as hell.

Now we’re supposed to believe that Chelsea, who after a few episodes went back to life as normal, is suddenly having nightmares again on the one anniversary of the kidnapping.

Mind you, there has been little to no mention of Allison or the kidnapping fiasco from Chelsea or anyone in that time.

We never saw Chelsea in therapy. We never saw her having nightmares or PTSD after the initial few episodes after the kidnapping. We have barely seen Chelsea period (they might as well drop her to recurring).

Today Chelsea called Allison her “ex” when the two of them were never in a relationship. We also saw Allison writing letters to her “wife” from the institution.

God help us. We are getting ready to get Allison 2.0 just in time for Halloween.

After weeks of waiting for the Chessnut Companion clock it finally arrived today…non-working and seemingly broken.

🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️

The face of the clock was completely detached and stuck to the black foam in the box where it appears the glue on the back attached itself to the foam.

The clock was poorly packaged. There was nothing protecting the clock face (no plastic film…nothing). There was nothing protecting the clock period. One of the buttons appears to be damaged as well.

I can’t tell you how disappointing this is to me.

I own both a Chessnut Move and Evo.

I was really looking forward to this thing.

I have never returned or exchanged one of their products.

I know they are based in China.

How quickly is the process? Is it easier to request a refund or request an exchange?

The clock is now selling for more than I paid weeks ago. I’m concerned.
