live in the midwest and have been looking to get a softshell for upcoming fall fishing trips. I was looking at some of the Simms gear and realized i could probably find something better from Arc'teryx or an outdoor brand. Anyone here use the Gamma MX for fishing? pros/cons?
Looking to get a dedicated swim/glidebait rod for lures mainly under 2oz fishing for large and smallmouth bass. Been looking at either the 7’3” SLX medium heavy swim bait rod or the 8’ 0” Daiwa DX medium heavy swim bait rod. Any recommendations?
Picked up a tan/grey heather and black heather pair. Inseam was about 7.5”-8”. Think I paid $12 per pair. They also have a women’s version for $10. We’ll see how they hold up but initially they feel identical to the soft jersey line.
Looking to get new tackle boxes and my OCD has me torn. Narrowed it down to either the Plano stowaway (waterproof) or the kast king hyperseals. Anyone try both and have a preference? Looking at those two because of aftermarket 3d printed inserts
have a cabelas gift card to spend and was looking at maybe getting a new rod instead of more baits. Stumbled upon the fiberglass cranking tatulat xt rod and was thinking i could use that for jerkbaits, lipless cranks, chatterbaits, and topwater walking baits. Would that be a good use for it? or better options out there? Dont really throw true crankbaits ever.
