Got this piccie while out looking for birbs yesterday :-)

I spent a couple of hours at one of my favourite local parks here in Tenterfield, NSW yesterday and there were many birdies to be seen :)

Superb Fairy-wrens, Fan-tailed Cuckoo, White-throated Treecreeper (F), Varied Sittella, Eastern Yellow Robin, Jacky Winter.

Got a Laughing Kookaburra, a pair of Peaceful Doves and a White-throated Treecreeper boy :)

I saw the Laughing Kookaburras at home in Tenterfield, NSW. The Bell Miners were at the Queen Mary Falls in Queensland. I had seen and heard Bell Miners before today but these are my first photos of them 😀

Got an Eastern Yellow Robin, a Superb Fairy-wren boy, and an Australian Magpie to share 😊

The White-plumed Honeyeater and Red-browed Finches were seen in Tenterfield, NSW. The Speckled Warbler and White-eared Honeyeater were seen at the Girraween National Park in Queensland.

They are FLOOF/10 when they are preening. Cute and silly :-)

A few pictures I've taken in the last couple of days. The first magpie was seen at home. The Superb Fairy-wren was seen up at the Mt Mackenzie lookout a short drive out of town. The Brown Falcon and second magpie were seen at a local park that is simply called Tenterfield Park.

Some birds I saw while walking along a section of the Condamine River that goes through Warwick :) A Pacific Black Duck, Rainbow Lorikeets, a young Grey Butcherbird and some Little Corellas.

I was just happy to spot this raptor chilling out on an antenna... I was even happier when I was able to get some pictures of it just perched there... AND THEN EVEN HAPPIER WHEN I GOT THESE TWO PICTURES OF IT TAKING OFF :-D
