Please give me hope 😭 Did anyone not feel Wegovy until day 2?

Looking to hear from anyone who didn’t feel much the first day but noticed it kick in around day 2/48 hours after their first shot!
I’m about to hit 24 hours since my first dose, and so far I haven’t noticed much of a decrease in appetite or food noise. I’m wondering if there’s still a chance I could feel it more tomorrow around the 48-hour mark, or if what I’m feeling today is probably what I should expect for this dose.
I know everyone responds differently and that some people don’t notice much until higher doses, so I’m mainly looking for similar experiences. Did anyone feel basically nothing at 24 hours, then notice a clear difference around 48 hours? Hoping to hear some positive stories!

Help with injection

Hi all! First-time Wegovy user and definitely overthinking this 😅 My dad takes a different GLP-1 and offered to help me with my first injection, but we didn’t realize my pen works differently than his.
He pulled the gray cap off really fast/hard, which made me worry we might have damaged it. He thought he broke it and then panick started. The first time we pressed the pen down, nothing happened, so we put the cap back on and waited about 5 minutes before trying again.
The second time, he pressed it firmly against my stomach and we heard a click. Neither of us can remember if we heard a second click. I didn’t know to watch the yellow bar at the time, but afterward I checked and the yellow bar is visible across the window. I also didn’t see any medication on my skin or leaking anywhere.
I have a small mark at the injection site too. Does it sound like the dose went in successfully even though we’re not sure about the second click?

Advice needed on which medication to choose

I’m a 21-year-old female, 5’2” and 164 lbs. I don’t have diabetes, but I’ve struggled to lose weight no matter how hard I try. My BMI is just at obese. The biggest issue for me is the constant food noise.
I recently saw my doctor, and she ordered blood work to check things and see if anything else could be contributing. At my follow-up next Thursday, she said I can choose between Wegovy or Zepbound either way.
Insurance isn’t really a deciding factor since the cost difference for me is only about $40, so I’m more interested in which medication people think works better.
If you’ve tried one or both, which would you recommend? Which helped more with food noise, weight loss, and had fewer side effects? I’d really appreciate any feedback!

Need Help!

Hi all! I am 21 year old female BMI 30.2) I weight 5'2 and weight about 165 pounds. no matter how hard I try to lose weight I have never been effective at it. I have tried working out every day multiple diet plans for years and I never end up losing weight or even keeping that little weight amount I lose off. I have been bullied about my weight constantly and I finally want to make a change. I called my insurance company. Interested in seeing my coverage (with prior authorization) for weight loss drugs. My only options are wegovy for 210 dollars a month and that is if I also meet another standard besides my BMI being obese. After all hope felt lost she mentioned to me I could ask my primary care doctor about Liraglutude-
generic of Victoza. She told me it would be only 20 dollars a month for me. I was just wondering was anyone else in my shoes able to get this covered by their insurance for weight loss? And how effective was it ect. Looking for advice on how to go about it with either my primary care doctor or tel health online. Thank you!
