Came to know of a big producer who scrapped Kinza from his list of potential actresses for his upcoming serial after her photos came out with the information minister. Happened to Sanam Saeed too in the past.
What's your take on celebs showing their political affiliations (e.g., Sajal/Sanam supporting PMLN and now with Fawad Khan working with the Sindh Government)? Does it impact how you view them?
Been watching it. I like the screens and the direction. One thing that makes me pause is if the script is basically a replay of Aik Aur Pakeeza's plot line? Fake video, the victims will rise for their case....
Like I get that it's getting more of an audience, which is nice. They have also maybe packaged the message better for the mass audiences. Aik Aur Pakeeza was amazing and might have had a smaller audience, but was perhaps made more so for critics rather than having a mass appeal. And was at times too heavy.
Surprised by Bas Tera Saath Ho since never liked Sana Javed thanks to her offscreen life, but she's not a bad actress. And the show seems to be doing well even if it's dragging a bit right now.
