Disability inclusion for martial classes?

How can rules enable individuals with mobility impairment to be effective in a martial class?

I'm part of a team starting up a new LARP club in our town and inclusion ideas I've seen from other LARPs are:

  • missions are opt-in/opt-out with non-combat options at any given event
  • healer and support classes that don't require high mobility
  • non-combatant roles with armbands who can only attack and be attacked verbally and using gestures

None of these fulfil the fun of swinging around a weapon though. I'd like like our rules to enable anyone to play any class.

What Sf2e ancestries are exceptionally powerful in a high level Pf2e game?

We're about to start a level 11-20 campaign and the GM is allowing Sf2e ancestries (but all other content will be Pf2). I know flight is often the most cited "Sf2 is stronger!" but at level 11 flight is accessible in many ways and that's a boring thing to take via ancestry if I'm being honest.

Looking for new strong combos Sf2 ancestries bring to the table that can't be accomplished with Pf2 only options.

Player is a lawyer and wants to play out the devil contract irl

A player at my table who happens to be a lawyer irl is being offered a devil contract which seemingly grants him a lot of power but has a hidden clause. His character wants to read the contract and negotiate, but I don't want to actually write it a 20 page thing for him to read. I made him roll insight, with anything not a nat 20 = he suspects there's probably hidden clauses but can't figure out exactly what it is.

Since the last session he has messaged me asking me to retcon and give him the contract in real life for him to read. Is it fair to say, "No. I'm not a lawyer and neither is your character?"

How to handle a cheese combo (instant drowning)?

I GM in a Westmarch server that plays by RAW (PFS limitations). In this weekend's game, I have an Interrogation I Investigator (Pointed Question) with scrolls of Pillar of Water and Laughing Fit in their inventory.

I messaged this player to confirm their intentions and they said it's a meme tactic they found on this subreddit.

Is there any argument to say it doesn't work? In this server, we try not to use "because the GM said so" to block shenanigans that are RAW.

Paizo's adventures don't give non-combat challenges enough stakes

Maybe it's the nature of pre-written adventures and the inevitability of some railroading, but non-combat skill checks rarely have significant importance on the game.

Examples without pointing out any specific APs:

  1. Party is trying to chase down an NPC and question them. The book tells you that if the party fails, an ally they interacted with earlier catches them.

  2. If the party succeeds at gathering information, which is a series of roleplay and exploration activities, they gain a meager +1 circumstance bonus to the next check that actually matters.

  3. A victory point system that only progresses the story and gives a small amount of bonus loot if they get the maximum points. In the very unlikely case the party gets the lowest number of points (less than 4 VPs over 12 checks), it doesn't seem like the party can move on and the book provides no guidance on how to fail forward.
