I have a question for anybody that has considered doing this or has already done this.

I currently have a GEN two scar 17 in 308 but I would like to attempt a caliber conversion to take it to 223 or 556
I have a Lingle industries scar 17 caliber conversion lower that accepts AR magazines. Does anyone have an idea where I could get a full bolt carrier assembly for the GEN two scar with a bolt face for 223 I figured this would be the easiest way instead of getting an individual firing pin and a bolt but if that’s another option then so be it.

As far as a barrel will a gin one barrel work in a GEN two receiver, obviously minus the front yolk.

Anyways, has anyone tried this or accomplished this task yet?

I’m 100% sure this won’t be till next year at the very earliest but has anyone heard if Mototech or KNS is working on a piston for the Gen2s yet?

I swapped a geissele trigger into this new g2 and threw on a VLTOR rear stock and got a Leupold Mk5 2-10 ordered this weekend but that’s it so far.

Was thinking about trying a set of KAC front and rear irons on it just to try something different also.

This is a silly question and I feel I know the answer but before I tear into the bolt I’m curious if anyone else has seen this

So I just picked up my awfully darn close to new Gen2 17 today and immediately what I do with all my firearms is it ok it apart looked for defaulty parts broken anything or misued parts in anyway. All looked good very Very minor wear but something did catch my eye.

Upon disassembly of the bolt I found that the spring loaded ejector that’s on the opposite side of the bolt as the extractor claw seems to be bound. I don’t want to over pressure it and cuss damage to the spring but anyone else with a Gen 2 had this issue? I haven’t tried to run a round through it yet but it truly feels like it won’t be able to chamber and extract the round anyways.

I’ve had 1 16 2 17s and a 20 all but one 17 were NRCH models and all ejectors were spring loaded. Seems awfully weird that I found an issue without even firing a round but I’m not overly worried about it.

Anyways i just want to reach out to you fine gentleman and and see if you all have noticed this or if there really is some debris in my bolt.

Hey guys, I have a 2018 1 ton Dooley diesel I was told that the 1500 gas gauge clusters and dashes interchange. Is that true? Have any of you guys done this?

My reasoning is I bought a tradesmen and I’d like to upgrade my dash gauge cluster if possible. And hell as much as I can, if I’m being honest.

Have any of you guys done this?

Also, my pick up is fully deleted, and I have access to an EZ link tuner so if I needed to reprogram anything I should be able to. Anyway, any help or suggestion is greatly appreciated.
