It used to cross the Atlantic toward South America.
But for many years now it has been at the heart of hamburgs harbor.

To think that Hamburg once looked like this everywhere…

Don’t get me wrong, Hamburg is a beautiful city but it really feels like there is almost nothing left of the medieval part of Hamburg. Of course it all got bombed and I’m happy that this even stands to this day

The Devils Bridge on the way up to Gotthard pass, Switzerland

Up until the construction of the first bridge it was always seen to be impossible to fully cross the Gotthard pass, which now is one of the two main ways across the alps!

I visited Bassano del Grappa (1), Cittadella (2), Padova (3, 4) and Vocenza (5)

This region has beautiful cities and is also pretty quiet in comparison to its famous capital of Venezia.
