Spotted Lantern Flies

East side of Fredericksburg in South Stafford. In the last three days, I’ve gone from nothing to a few to about 50 sightings (same with stink bugs). Anyone else noticing the uptick?

Haven't seen any on plants, bushes or crape myrtles. They are always walking up our brick siding to the upper trim.

Searching yields no results

Could be a slow seller day. Every eBay search on my phone comes back with No Results.

Example: iron shaft

There are thousands available, yet no results.

Oh wait ... maybe everyone's listings were dropped /s.

Separating G440 head from shaft

Next steps needed.

Bought a G440 4 iron. Replaced the shaft with a .355 Project X LZ. Used for 6 months.

Upgraded to an i240 4 iron. Trying to use the shaft from the G440 in the i240.

I can't remove it with my creme brûlée flame by pulling.

Background: have removed at least 6 ping shafts from iron heads simply by heating and pulling (quick twist and pull with steel and straight pull with graphite. There are two differences with this club.

1: Having read somewhere that Ping uses EA11C Loctite epoxy, that's what i used to install the shaft and
2: the club was bent 1 additional degree upright after installation

Note: it looks like the use EA10 which explains some of my issue

I have now purchased a cheap shaft puller to try (yet to arrive). I honestly expect it to break.

I have read that EA11C stands up to higher heat. Do I need more than my crème brûlée?

Suggestions? The shaft is worth more to me than the club head. Yes, there is a golf shop near by that I can pay and I will do that if the cheap puller breaks.

Update: The $45 shaft puller did the trick. I'll post a link to it. Good cheap alternative.
