Judgmental podcasts with high standards that make you feel bad?

I reached the end of my podcasts and now I don't have anything to listen to at the gym!

Specifically, I listened through all of Autumn Kern and Ashley Buffa and I really liked their approach. As the title says, they have high standards and come off a little judgmental in a good way, and kind of make me feel bad. I like it. It's motivating, gives me clear ideas and expectations. Kitchen Table Homeschool was a similar vibe. Brat Busters is a non homeschool parenting podcast is also a kick in the pants.

Compare that to, say, Brave Writer podcast that's way too eager to tell me how great I'm doing at creating a joyful and inspiring and enchanting homeschool and makes me feel like a liar.

Any recommendations for homeschool or parenting podcasts with a similar vibe?

Sewing classes?

My teenager wants to learn how to sew clothes. Is there really no one in town that will teach her? I learned how to sew at a community college continuing education class, but that doesn't seem to exist at Chemeketa? Any ideas?

Basically title. She already has all the Bibles and rosaries and prayer journals. I'll get her a framed print of her confirmation saint. But what else is cool for a 14 year old girl?

I have long, straight hair. I wash it, occasionally use conditioner, sleep on it wet, brush it in the morning, put a ponytail in, and that's it. I'm 44, it's starting to fall out, is losing what little loveliness or every had and I never saw before I started losing it.

I had my first kid in 2020 so when it got too long, I cut it myself over the trash with a pair of kitchen shears and that's been my habit since then. My husband chases me around with a pair scissors for a few days afterwards to trim the scraggly bits.

Is it worth it to go to a proper salon? Would a proper hair stylist be able to give my hair some oomph even if my lifestyle/personality won't let me maintain it?
