2 fewer mattresses on the street

I read a post last week in this sub that mentioned that the Davis Street dump in San Leandro allows for free mattress drop off. https://www.reddit.com/r/oakland/s/0Ks20mjCX5

My girlfriend and I grabbed one from the Dutton/580 on-ramp last night and I took it to the dump today. We grabbed another from MacArthur in Sheffield Village this afternoon and ran it to the dump again.

If you have a truck, some time to spare, and want to feel good about helping the town, scoop up a mattress when you see it.

Edited to add: u/RHfuckedup and u/Few_Channel_4774 have pointed out that the Habitat for Humanity Re-Store near the Oakland Coliseum at 9235 San Leandro St. also accepts mattresses and box springs FOR FREE. Thank you for the additional info, friends!

Reactor presets modified by former preset

I’ve had my Reactor amp for about a week now and I’m just not sure if I understand the presets correctly. I got a really nice clean Nirvana tone dialed in that sounds good with stompboxes and I saved it as a preset. Today I turned on my amp and use my phone to select the preset and it sounded terrible. I tried selecting a few of the built-in presets from my phone before switching back to the Nirvana preset that I created. I found that if I was trying high gain distorted preset, and then switched to the Nirvana preset, it would carry a lot of of those settings over. It didn’t show it on the phone – all of the settings on my phone looked correct but looking at the FX box on the amp there were lots of effects turned on from the previously selected preset. Shouldn’t my preset set the amp to exactly what’s displayed on the phone? Is there anyway around this?

I'm big and tall and I look and feel weird playing most solid body electric guitars. I have an Epiphone Dot (cheaper 335) which looks okay, but is a semi-hollow body. I recently learned about the Buckethead signature Les Paul which is a larger body baritone. I've started looking at baritones that I could restring and retune to standard E tuning, but I'm starting to get the impression that not all baritone bodies are scaled up to match the longer necks. Is that right? Where would you point me to find a universally scaled-up solid body electric guitar? Thanks.
