How would you see the difference between asking someone to be FWB vs a Casting Couch kind of situation?

Before any judgement comes through, I'm not supporting or challenging any practices or incidents happening around.

I'm just curious about how people see the difference between these two behaviours - approaching someone for a FWB / hookup VS asking for sexual favours from a colleague or person whom you are hiring for a particular work.

Is the attitude of bartering sexual favours for work & recognition the only differentiating factor here?

Best stores to find affordable sofas in Bangalore?

Looking for really soft fabric / cloth based sofas. I really like the recliner sofas' material, but I need a lounger with similar cushioning and comfort.

Budget : 40k

Finding a partner when you have a visible skin condition is a heartbreaking process

I'm writing this with a heavy heart.

I'm 35, having a chronic skin condition. Although the inflammations have reduced in the last year or so, my mental health is still in pieces.

Everytime I see couples around, it makes me feel left out of something I've rarely experienced in life. As much as anyone, I want to feel loved and seen as a potential romantic interest by women. But that almost never happens. Even when I feel like I've connected with someone at some level and muster up the courage to ask them out for a date, I just face rejection.

I feel it all boils down to how I'm seen and perceived by others. Having a chronic skin condition that's visible (and not pleasant to look at) definitely plays at people's subconscious level.

It's easy to say "the right one won't have a problem with how you look", but that's not how the real world works.

I'm not looking for advice related improving self-esteem or create self-love. I've been through that and it hasn't helped.

I want to hear real stories or experiences that have worked for any of you - related to dating / relationships / social interactions.

How would you deal with a partner when your honest opinion hurts her?

Let's assume a hypothetical scenario where something someone said (let's say person X) has really upset your partner.

It could be about an argument or being questioned or having contrasting opinions between your partner and X.

Now when your partner wants to rant about it, you might keep your opinions in check, just to be a good listener to her.

But when she wants to seek your opinion, do you honestly admit that you agree with X (assuming you align with what they had said) OR do you fake your opinion to comfort your partner?
