Need a rec for a CA native bush or tree!

We dug a 5x5ft hole in Albany/CA (coastal side) about 15 feet from the house. I absolutely love the California buckeye or Ceanothus 'Ray Hartman', but I want to make sure they fit the space and our coastal fog. Thanks!!

Is this Mag chelate worth it? Designs for health

I’m looking for magnesium for supplementation, relaxation and sleeping aid. I was recently diagnosed with gastritis and GERD, so I need to be cautious about fillers in my supplements. Is this product worth their price? Any other cheaper alternatives? Thanks!!

LPR/GERD + gastritis diagnosis—Aviv (Acid Watcher) vs Capelan(Gastritis Healing)?

I was recently diagnosed with LPR, GERD, and gastritis. I’m considering two dietary approaches: Aviv (The Acid Watcher Diet) and Capelan (The Gastritis Healing Book). While they share similarities, they also have distinct differences, such as Capelan being gluten-free. Seeking advice from anyone with a similar experience. Thank you!!

Managing Vocal Cord Pain with Suspected LPR/GERD While Awaiting Diagnosis

I am currently in the process of getting diagnosed, but my symptoms point heavily toward LPR and possibly GERD.

I have an ENT appointment on June 3rd and an endoscopy scheduled in a month.

Thanks to a low-acid diet, a wedge pillow, and stopping food four hours before bed, several of my symptoms have significantly improved (nausea, post-nasal drip, throat clearing, ear pain, globus sensation, and the burning acid taste in my mouth. I don’t have heartburn).

However, my vocal cords still hurt when I speak. I notice that if I lower my voice and try not to strain my throat, it hurts less. Should I go on complete voice rest until my appointments? If so, how do you manage staying silent at work? Did you “talk” to your boss or friends about it? LPR really stinks… thank you!

ENT & or GI

I think I have LPR, all the symptoms matched perfectly. I don’t feel normal heartburn but have pain in my chest left side and sometimes nausea (GERD?). I was able to book an appointment with a ENT 4 weeks from now and GI is available next week? Is it worth to visit a GI or only the ENT? Thanks!!!

ENT & or GI Dr?

Update: My GI appointment went great!! The doctor ordered an endoscopy for a couple of weeks from now, plus some extra exams. He also confirmed that these results will be super useful for my upcoming ENT appointment regarding my vocal cord pain and globus. Feeling relieved and blessed to have a plan!!!!
