Right procedure for a refund

Hi,

I have currently a small dispute with a powerseller over the condition of 2 out of 3 mtg cards I ordered. I used trustee service for the purchase. It doesn't look like we're going to get to an agreement over a partial refund because I consider the cards as one grading level under the sellers evaluation. Therefore a full refund and sending back the cards will probably be the next step.

Do I need to make a ticket for such a case and include the support or do I just need to send back the cards and get my money back after it arrives?

Mana Base budget upgrade

Hey

I'm thinking about upgrading my mana base for my [[hearthull, the world seed]] deck to smooth out the early game.

Currently I'm running a slightly modified precon Mana base with:

Untapped: (20)

7x Forest, 4x Swamp, 3x Mountain

3x Painlands

1x Filter land

[[Command tower]], [[Eumidian hatchery]]

Conditional untapped: (4)

3x Battle lands (fetchable)

[[shifting woodland]]

Tapped: (7)

3x cycling land (fetchable)

[[Myriad Landscape]], [[Dalkmor Savage]], [[Bojuka Bog]], [[Echoing deeps]]

Fetchland: (9)

[[Fabled Passage]]

2x Slow fetchlands (comes tapped)

3x Basic fetchlands (Fetches tapped)

3x Sac-to-fetch (Fetches tapped)

What would be the best cheapish way to upgrade those? What would you advise me to buy and swap out?

Edit: My budget would be around 50€ for now.

Scute swarm math

Hi!

I was goldfishing yesterday and wasn't sure if I was interpreting the rules for Scute Swarm correctly. I had 8 Scute Swarms on the battlefield and already controlled 7+ lands, so each Landfall trigger would create another Scute.

I also had Traveling Chocobo, so my Landfall abilities triggered an additional time. Then I used a big Sporocyst to put 7 lands onto the battlefield. Which of the following is correct?

A) Each of the 8 Scutes sees 7 lands entering, creating 56 new Scutes, which then also see the same 7 lands entering, for a total of 448 new Scutes.

B) The Chocobo doubles the Landfall triggers, so it's simply 8 × 14 = 112 new Scutes.

Thanks :)

Beginner precon recommendations

Hey,

I got a buddy of mine into commander and now he decided that it's time for him to get himself his own deck and asked for a recommendation.

Which easy to pilot precons would you suggest?

Our pod has those precons so far without upgrades:

- y'shtola

- TMNT

- hakbal

We also have upgraded versions of Dance of the elements and world shaper. They aren't played that often because of power imbalance but I'd prefer if he took something else.

The budget would be 70€ max including some sleeves and shipping.

Bonus points if it's a deck working on some kind of burn damage.

He's a marvel fan. Are those precons worth it?

Otherwise I'm thinking about either counter blitz, animated army, squiriled away or riders of Rohan.

Help hearthull hit harder

Hey reddit

Im currently working on my hearthull landfall/landsac deck.

I recently acquired cheapish copies of:

[[Nissa, Resurgent Animist]]

[[Shifting Woodland]]

[[Lumra, Bellow of the Woods]]

[[Tannuk, Memorial Ensign]]

I'd like to fit some of them into my deck but I'm having a hard time deciding which cards to cut. Can some of you more seasoned deck builders give me some advice?

I guess we're playing low to mid b3 at my pod. Some use game changers.

I also have a copy of [[crop rotation]] laying around. Would it be beneficial to add it even though my land base mostly sucks?

Thanks :)
