Kerbalist 4.0

Kerbalist currently at v4.0

Runs in browser: https://blocdigital.github.io/Kerbalist

SCREENSHOT 1: *FROM THE UPCOMING HUD PATCH at v4.1

SCREENSHOT 2: In-Game Kerbin-> Jool at 20y 47d (for comparison)

SCREENSHOT 3: was supposed to be updated phase and ejection angle diagrams but i fudged the upload with the wrong screenshot. Check in-app for updated versions 😅

Detailed changelog in-app

[4.0] - 2026-10-03

Added

  • Verification code on bug reports
  • Automatic app screenshot
  • Your own screenshot
  • Collapsible legend

Changed

  • Transfer window timing
  • Required phase angle
  • Exact transfer numbers
  • Ejection card
  • Source layout

Fixed

  • Ejection angle was on the wrong side: For an outbound transfer it said to burn ahead of prograde, which sends the ship out against the planet's motion. It now says how far ahead of retrograde to burn (outbound) or ahead of prograde (inbound), including any tilt in the departure direction.
  • Bug report with a screenshot didn't open: The image was packed into the GitHub link, which made it too long. Screenshots now go through the clipboard.
  • Dropped images opened in a new tab: Only the small drop box caught drops. Dropping now works anywhere on the form.
  • JPG screenshots couldn't be copied: The clipboard only takes PNG, so uploads are converted first.
  • Submit button off-screen on short windows: The bug report form now scrolls inside the window.

Known Issues

  • Transfers are flat (no orbital tilt). Duna and Eve are fine, but Moho (7°) and Eeloo (6°) won't intercept exactly.
  • The return-trip estimate still uses the quick circular-orbit numbers.
  • The map doesn't render on mobile browsers, and the kRPC2 bridge doesn't work yet (see 3.6.4).

Happy flights 🤘🚀

WHAT IS GOING ON WITH THE LOGIN?

I've been asked to enter my password for my IMAP account every-single time I open my PC since a week now!

It's insanely annoying as I have to create a new app-specific password from the provider every-single time!!!!

First the ads on inbox, then the calendar was a mess, icons not rendering properly, messages get stuck in draft and never sent, inbox is delayed for ages sometimes. I get my emails on my phone and they show up on the PC half an hour after! Same with messages sent!

The new outlook IS A HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT. SHAME ON MICROSOFT.

Taking a tool that people use for their businesses and completely screwing it up !!!

Building an interactive KSP2 transfer map.

Hi everyone, I've recently came back to check what's up with KSP2 and discovered Redux! It's amazing so far really enjoying the new missions and all the bug fixes.

However, I found myself trying to find a visualised way for planetary transfers as I find it difficult to understand many guides about this.

Introducing: Kerbalist 🚀

This is still in very early stages and I would love to hear from experienced players if this calculator is working "ok" so far.

Version 1.6.1 (Current)

  • Moon Destination Selection: Added moons to the origin and destination dropdowns directly below their parent planets, with dashed labels like - Mun to distinguish them from planets.
  • Moon Orbit Display Fixes: Tightened inner-planet moon orbit rendering so local moon rings remain readable without overlapping neighboring planetary orbits, while keeping outer moon systems legible.
  • Clear Transfer Control: Added a Clear button beside Plan Transfer to remove transfer arcs, phase lines, arrival ghosts, and reset the transfer panel for an unobstructed map view.

Version 1.6.0

  • 🌕 Complete Moon System: Added all stock KSP/KSP2 moons (Gilly, Mun, Minmus, Ike, Laythe, Vall, Tylo, Bop, Pol) with 3D local orbits, real-time ephemerides propagation, interactive raycast clicking, and detailed physical data inspection.
  • 🎯 Double Click Centering: Double-clicking any planet or moon in 3D snaps camera focus directly to that celestial body.
  • 🔍 Expanded Visual Scale: Scaled down planet spheres and expanded moon orbit radii so moons orbit clearly outside planetary atmospheres without overlap.
  • 📍 Subtle Camera Focal Marker: Added a minimal dark grey 3D pivot dot tracking camera focus in space.

Version 1.5.0

  • 🪐 Full 3D WebGL Solar System Map: Replaced 2D SVG map with Three.js WebGL 3D scene supporting accurate planetary orbital inclinations.
  • 🎥 Free-look Orbital Camera: Added free rotation (Left Drag), panning (Shift + Drag), zoom (Scroll), and quick view reset (R key or ⤾ button).
  • 👻 Destination Arrival Ghost: Shows a translucent ghost planet at the exact projected position of the destination body upon arrival, connected by a trajectory line.
  • 📐 3D Trajectory Inclination Matching: Transfer arc path interpolates inclination angles from departure to destination planet (e.g. 0° Kerbin → 5° Dres).
  • ⌨️** UI & Controls H**UD: Added on-screen keyboard/mouse controls overlay card and expanded UT sync input fields to support 4-digit years comfortably.

### Future Ideas

- Modded planetary systems
- Save/load mission plans
- Export trajectories

Game won't launch if I install any other mod than the original 4 that come with the Redux installation.

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to install few basic mods like node maneuver etc but the game won't launch if I install any other mod than the original 4 that come with the Redux installation. (spacewarp, redux and couple more)

Do I have to do something particular before I can mod KSP2 Redux?

Farms template?

Hi there, I got so many farms going on different regions, is there a way to copy crop rotation from one to the other? So to have like 3 different rotations but just copy paste them not set every single farm year by year 😮‍💨😔

Edit: Also a building list would be awesome if the developer sees this post please add a building list so we don’t have to visually look for everything in every region it takes so much time and sometimes when you rotate the view its like impossible to find something quickly.

Claude is fine

I don't know what's the big fuzz and awe with the new codex and claude versions, everyone is either complaining or making a very weird and long compliment (while complaining on the side) about either of the LLMs.

I find Claude amazing at what it does and how it is trained, last 2 weeks I never hit the limits as I used to before, If you hit the limits, you just don't know how to configure your agents and run an agent squad together in unison. Have strickt workflow architecture, task index etc.

Codex is amazing in correcting the final code of Claude, as well as providing the initial prompts. I get 2000 word prompts from Chat GPT, feed them to Claude and it builds EXACTLY what I instructed and sometimes it even improves on it.

My only takeaway is, Codex - prompt and ship(more upkeep longterm), Claude - prompt and work the shit out of it before shipping(slower shipping).
