Blackmagic Pyxis 12k iOS app not working

Hi I have Bluetooth enabled, remote control enabled, stream enabled.

Camera is latest firmware as is my phones app

I cannot connect to it wirelessly, on my phone settings I cannot see the device name listed.

I can connect the camera to my list of cameras via Ethernet connection to my phone (entering ip address) but not control it. I have enabled my mobile hotspot the entire time whilst doing this

My phone is an iPhone 15 pro

Is there something I’m missing or is there a different solution via a laptop

I want to change camera settings and run stop camera as it will be in a remote place that i can’t reach

Meeting my Gf’s family for the first time

Hey everyone, been a lurker of the sub for a while. I’ve been so excited to post this!

I’m going in December visiting from the Uk! Finally saved up the money to go and visit my girlfriend’s family!

We’ve discussed getting dengue fever and chikungunya vaccinations ahead of time but anything else to watch out for (apart from the lizards haha)?

Renting a car too so any spots you guys would recommend?

Upgrading to Arri handset

Hi everyone, I’m anticipating to jump to an Arri LCS in the near future.

Currently I have budget for the WCU 4 as I want to get my foot on the ladder of Arri technology and the end goal being the Hi5.

Below is a breakdown of how I want to control FIZ with my budget limitations

A few options I’m weighing up at the moment, not a seasoned focus puller here so no doubt Im making mistakes as I go. But let me know your thoughts!

WCU-4> Ria 1( white radio module) >3x clm 4 motors

WCU-4> ERM-2400 LCS> 3x clm 4 motors

WCU-4>AMC-1> 3x clm 4 motors

Side note: For camera control I will invest into Ethernet bridging technology. Chasing licenses forever is very frustrating and costly

Hi all, I’m a tradesmen.

I messaged a guy to work with him.

We agreed a rate of £100 a day.

I worked six days in total with him, after contacting him over and over again, he just keeps on lying saying that his bank isn’t working at the moment and that he can’t pay me.

All of this is backed up on WhatsApp however he said he didn’t want me to invoice him and that he would pay cash

If this does go to small claims court, how exactly am I gonna prove that I worked for him when he denied me sending an invoice to him?

Any advice would be really helpful
