He looks menacing because he is the only one in this house enjoying the heat and he wants to cuddle with his warm, warm body. I have fear of him. It is too hot. I love him but he insists on sitting on my face.

What on earth bit me?

They looked like huge mosquito bites on day one but today they have turned red and have an aura or ring around them. I haven't been in the woods or anything recently and we checked for bed bugs and the like. They're warm to the touch and veryyyy itchy. I'm kind of at a loss.

Things I wish happened in the finale

- I think Caine should have stayed dead. If he was never deleted, I could understand a redemption arc, but I thought the way he went out in episode 8 was cool and would have been a better send off for him. The humans could have figured out another way to gain more power over the circus or trained their conjuring skills overtime. Caine coming back was not needed.

- I think Jax should have sacrificed himself or something. I liked the message that no matter how horrible of a person you become, you can always choose to change, but I dislike that Jax never got to change? He was basically given the tools and set up to become better but only AFTER he already abstracted. I think it would have been neat if he got un abstracted but then sacrificed his code or something to give the humans more control over the circus, because he decided he really did care about them after all. Or perhaps he begins to change before abstracting and has to sacrifice himself in some other way. I liked how the abstractions are taken care of and kept calm, but Jax's arc just seemed all over the place somehow.

- The "Isn't She Lovely" sequence was really funny and clever but I felt like it happened at the entirely wrong moment and took me out of the tension. That was probably intentional but I personally would have put that somewhere else, maybe even as an after credit scene.

- Kaufmo could have used a little more development. He was very much just a tool for the other characters and their development

- I think Kinger's human form should have been much older looking? He looks 30, which feels wrong.

- Personally, I think a tragedy or half tragedy would have suited the show better. This ending kinda felt like if someone wrote a fix-it fic for the show's ending. Everything was tied up kind of TOO neatly, if that makes sense.

- That being said, with the ending that we did get, where on earth was Gumigoo???

- Lastly, I hated the last shot of Pomni waving at the screen. Don't look at me.

To clarify, I did not HATE the ending but I didn't love it either. I feel like it was played very safe. I left the theater thinking "that was good but I expected even better"
