This is Jesse's premise. It's not due to the barbaric genocide over the past three years and the associated vocal support for it. This is Jesse's calling and why he's putting down the Canadaland microphone, so he can dedicate himself to "the Palestine issue" and propaganda in service of genocide.

Disgusting but not surprising

He's trying to smear Palestinian rights activists and antizionist Jews such as Avi Lewis by linking them to the Belleville attack - blaming them for it.

This is it right here in a nutshell. They can't believe that people are disgusted with Israel because of its actions, the war crimes, the genocide, the barbarity. It can't be because people are concerned about Palestinians, right, because who cares about Palestinians? It has to be hatred of Jews. That's the only explanation.

Folks like Jesse really don't like it when there's coverage of the results Israel's genocide in Gaza. They prefer if we don't see the suffering and damage Israel has inflicted. Israel still isn't allowing foreign journalists into Gaza.

A motion calling on the city of Montreal to cut institutional ties with Israel will be heard on Aug. 24

The motion introduced by Projet Montréal, the official municipal opposition, on June 4 calls on the city to suspend institutional ties with the Israeli government, its institutions and municipalities. This includes not inviting Israeli state representatives to official events at city hall, “until Israel returns to its internationally recognized borders, ceases its violations of the rights of Palestinian people and ends its violations of international law.”

The text also calls on the city to “recognize and denounce the apartheid regime in Palestine and the genocide being perpetrated there” ...

According to Jesse, he "attacked" the synagogue.

"Palestinian goalkeeper Saleem al-Ashqar was killed earlier this week by Israeli forces in the Gaza Strip, the Palestinian Football Association (PFA) said in a statement on Monday, prompting tributes from football supporters, journalists, fans, and the public on social media.

The PFA said the 32-year-old was killed by Israeli army fire. With Ashqar's death, the association said the number of Palestinian sports figures killed since the start of Israel's war on Gaza has risen to 1,009, including 567 members of the Palestinian football community. It added that Ashqar had married just five months ago and was expecting his first child with his wife. 

A relative of Ashqar told Wafa that the goalkeeper was returning home from work when Israeli forces opened fire on unarmed civilians northeast of Hamad City, striking him in the chest. The relative described him as "one of the finest young men" in the community."
