Blaze Foley recordings from Georgia... I love Blaze, especially Clay Pigeons.

The Smiths debut. Tough call here as a lot of my favorite songs are spread across many records.

The Faces-A nod is as good as a wink... Absolute rocker in the best way.

Got the faces from Rhino... I wish their hifi pressings weren't so limited. I got nevermind the bollocks hifi while it was available, but really wanted Marquee Moon.

Mpc Pad Activation question

Im new to the mpc world... How do you trigger the pads without getting a double tap? Im using the mpc sample and if i finger drum it, i get a lot of doublets! Same when I had an sp404.

And the quantized recording... I can keep time while playing guitar no problem, but im finding myself struggling to tap a beat into a sequence and have it come out on the steps i want.

Tone Check

Around 43 seconds in, you hear the first riff played by the lead guitarist. Its just a little answering phrase.

Im sure its straight overdrive, but what would be a good pedal to use with an FRFR amp to get that sound?

So I have a gear problem and I'm doing a big spring cleaning after one year in my first house. I typically play by getting a beat going on my drum machines, get a synth playing a bassline and another doing a melody sequence, and then I play the guitar over the top of it.

The problem is that I have 3 different samplers... I have a 1010 Blackbox, an Sp404mk2, and the new Mpc Sample. What I want to do is to be able to trigger samples, or record/edit/trigger samples on the fly of guitar riffs.

So the blackbox is going away. Sample is staying. Should I sell the 404mk2 as well or box it up and keep it? I don't use it enough to keep in in my live setup, but I want to keep it in theory... I don't need the 400usd I'd get by selling it. I could see down the road in a few years fully learning it and focusing on it, but by then something better will be available. Really i just hate having unused stuff piling up out of sentiment.

Saved up for 10 years to make a down payment... Originally I planned on buying land cash, having an I-beam building built, then cashflow the interior.

Instead, I stumbled across this beauty on my first day of looking. When I hit the number in my savings that I felt comfortable with, I started my search. This was the 2nd property I looked at.

3300 square feet on 5 acres. Its just me and I plan on it being my forever home. Im exactly one year into owning it. There are a few design choices that I would have made differently had I followed my original plan, but I was tired of being in an apartment and land is only getting more expensive. Im in a great area, all 5 acre lots on my road, 45 minutes to work once a week (not your regular job)... I plan on paying it off in 10 years and once I get yhat accomplished I will change the few things that I don't like about it (like the master baths shower) and a few other minor things.

What yall think?
