Picked these up this weekend. I got all NES games for $40. FFiii for $55, FFii for $50, Secret of Evermore for $25, B.O.B and DK for $15, and Paper Mario for $60 from GameStop.
I cannot trigger Gau’s father side quest on snes. What do I need to do exactly?

Anyone ever heard of these? I’ve played gauntlet at the arcade when I was younger but I seen a video of shadow man and it looked good. Got both for $56!
Here are some pictures of the board. I hope they are good but the issue I am having is intermittent frag. If I let it sit it will launch and I can play all day but once I press the eject button or power button it does the 3 boot loop then frag. Then let it sit for a few hours and it works again.
First time I plugged it, it booted and played a game, but after, it started 3 cycle fragging with no visual. I took it apart and the clock cap leaked a little bit I see no corrosion or damage. Removed it and cleaned the area. Next day after leaving it plugged it, it booted right up and got to the menu then black screen and has done that twice now. What would be the best place to start with intermittent frag? Re cap?
