A struggle finding a job that is ethical.

Hello, so in a year I am getting out of university and wanting to find an apprenticeship. I used to be a Vajrayana Buddhist before converting back to Pureland Buddhism specifically either the Chinese or the Vietnamese tradition of Pureland Buddhism. But the job I am interested in is working in leather goods (basically making bags, wallets, hats, jackets out of leather) as there seems to be a lot of brands in my country who are hiring more workers nowadays and the pay is good while the other jobs I'm passionate for are lower paying at an entry point on avergae so I could end up struggling financially.

But I wonder, as the leather used in the industry is often made out of animal leather, is it okay as a Buddhist to work in the leather goods industry? I know I sound stupid and I'm sorry if this post disturbs some people. (I don't live in the US)

CAN WE SHUT UP ABOUT ENGLISH VS CONTINENTAL KNITTING???!?!??!?!

This is my opinion

At this point, I am TIRED of the whole "Choose continental knitting it's faster!!" or "Choose english knitting you get better results and tension!!". Even as a continental knitter or a picking knitter or whatever you call it, I find it irritating to see english knitters be told to use continental as it is "more faster" while I even see like in rarer cases throwers, flickers or english knitters say continental's tension is worse.

Personnally I choose continental because I crocheted first before I started knitting so obviously it's more natural for me and I can simply tension it more like I do with crochet by adding an extra loop on my pinkie. I have tried english knitting but either the yarn wool gets in the way or I find it super weird to hold my yarn and work my knitting at the same time. I can also do purling naturally like I am hooking the yarn with my needle like in crochet as if I'm yarning over my working needle.

Some prefer flicking, throwing, irish cottage, portuguese, russian styles of knitting for themselves. Like literally choose the one style or even make up your own style that you're more used to and the more muscle memory, you start to get faster.

tl;dr NOT EVERYONE HAS THE SAME MUSCLE MEMORY AND WAY OF TENSIONING YARN, let them be for god sake.

Some anxiety concerning an probably upcoming empowerment

For context, I've received refuge a year ago with two empowerments which is a Kriya Yoga tantra and a guru yoga from a rinpoche who comes to my temple once a year. But this year he is probably giving us Chod empowerment after a few requests from my fellow volunteers.

I put Chod as one of the many practices I really want to do but at the same time I am somewhat excited and afraid after hearing the news. Excited because I am getting one of the most beautiful practices I have ever seen yet I never done Ngondro. I wanted to keep it as my heart practice since I won't be in the city for very long after I finish my university studies. So I really want to leave with a heart practice that resonates with me very well. I could ask my Lama but he seems pretty occupied with his own working and preparing for the Rinpoche to come over. But I'm afraid because I might become more egotistical or even more drained.

I was a Buddhist since 3 years and again I received refuge and been attending my temple fequently for a roughly year now. How do I go past this anxiety?
