A Game Genre I Won't Return To - Fighting LARPS

This year I attended the monster fighting LARP, and to say it was disorganized would be an understatement. The rules were poorly explained, the rule about *gentle* hits were ignored by almost everyone, and a teenage kid on my team was not shockingly, hyperactive and unaware of his surroundings and managed to accidentally elbow me in the nose pretty hard and still ignore that he did so. The game rules were explained by two girls who seemed to only have a vague sense of what they were doing and explained almost nothing. I just didn't enjoy myself after the event and will not be doing fighting LARPs again. Not hating on it if you like it, but it's a lesson I had to learn.

Looking for Players - 1-4 PM at OGRE, Weekly 1-4 session adventures (Draw Steel TTRPG)

I am officially recruiting again for a weekly Draw Steel (Cinematic Tactical Heroic Fantasy) game from 1 PM - 4 PM at OGRE. I'm starting a new game, and it'll be short adventures primarily (1-4 sessions) so people can drop in and out. It's a sandbox and player driven game. I'm looking to recruit anyone interested - experience is \*not\* required. There is no limit to the amount of players I can take, only a limit to how many can sign up for a single adventure. If you want in, please comment below or DM me!

I'm an autistic young adult (24) with an associates degree in computer networking, and I work at an IT helpdesk at a local hospital, serving around 3000 employees. I have been at this job for three years and have been struggling to stay afloat. I'm now on a third write up, and am likely to be escorted out the door in the coming weeks if something doesn't change. All of my issues have been solely with interpersonal communications, and have been struggling with this the entire time I've been at this job. I give my all to this job, as it pays me well enough to eat and have a roof over my head. Now I'm finally disclosing my disability - Autism and ADHD - and hoping to get some sort of accomodations to help me out. The issue is, I have no idea what I can or even should ask for!

I could ask for remote work benefits but I'm not sure if that could be granted or if it would be, as part of the job is helping employees when they walk in and need help. Please help me figure out what disability benefits I can and should ask for to get assistance.

I've been thinking about doing a Draw Steel living game for a bit now, and how that might work. This would be a similar style to Legend of the Five Rings TTRPG and the Heroes of Rokugan campaigns where 5-10 adventures designed for 3 to 5 hour sessions each would be written and released. Victories and XP are kept track of within the living game, and a big event is held at a convention like GenCon with a Political and a battle interactive. Right now I'm in the "Wouldn't that be cool?" Stage, but if there's enough interest from GMs who would love to meet with like-minded people and work on this project, I'd love to get to actually building something like this. If you think this is a cool idea and you want to be involved in making it a reality, comment below and discuss!
