Skate bags

Hello!

I'm looking for a skate bag to carry around pretty much just the basics (skates, guards, soakers, leg warmers, gloves, socks, towel, water bottle) that is not a rink rabbit. I don't want a typical backpack looking bag.

I recently tried an adidas duffle bag, but it felt really flimsy when I put my skates in and just felt like a bunch of thin, fabric bunching together.

Squat on after fall + coach guilt?

Hi!

I'm coaching one of my gym's in-house teams, and I'm trying to work on squat-ons and jumping to the high bar. Today, one of my girls who has an inconsistent squat on fell. Another coach was spotting her squat on, and I was between the bars to spot the jump in case she peeled. She has done this a few times. She told the other coach she was going to do a cast and then cast squat on on the second cast. She went on the first cast, her feet hooked, and both coaches did our best to ease her fall, but she fell to her hands and knees. She seemed really shaken up and was crying but I made sure that it was from the scariness not pain. I told her to take break and go splash some water on her face. A few minutes later, my manager walks up to us and is like "did a kid fall?" and I'm like yeah, she was a little shaken but she's in the bathroom right now. She said, "well mom saw it happen and is taking her home" (practice ends about 20-30 minutes later). I'm told that I'm not in trouble or anything and that she just wanted to know if an injury happened.

I have two problems/situations right now:

  1. Coach guilt? Feels like the right term for how I feel about this. I feel horrible. I hope this girl isn't terrified to try her squat on again, or doesn't trust me as her coach anymore, or is hurt and didn't tell me. I feel so bad that I couldn't catch her, and that this rattled her so much she had to leave.

  2. I don't know how to approach the squat on after this. I have done many floor bar drills with her and she's great at those. It seems like the only way to go is to just keep doing the squat on. But I have no idea if she'll go for it next week, and I don't know how to approach that.

How do you organize your downloaded fics? Where do you download them to? Once they're downloaded, how do you add covers, sort them, keep series' and/or authors' works together, know the word count/what they're about/which one it is? Also ... how the hell do I use Calibre? It's so confusing!!

I've downloaded a few fics to kindle but not my 200 tabs of fics. And the author shows up as A03 when I sort by author in the app lol. I use the website send to kindle method but I know that won't be feasible when I want to mass move my fics.

ISO coming-out fics where they just go "fuck it, I want them to know you're mine." I'm fine with angst as long as it's a happy ending, but would prefer supportive, shocked, and comedic fluff. Preferably one shots or under 20k words. Thanks y'all!!!

Inspired by It Was Us All Along - Itsallfine - Heated Rivalry (TV), Game Changers Series - Rachel Reid [Archive of Our Own]

This fic does this trope REALLY well. The emotions are there, the fluff is there, and the comedy of the team's reactions is there!

Looking for ilya/shane as coaches and parents to teenagers. I would love to see them coaching their own children or just as coaches to a team in general, as well as parents to a teen in general. Even if they don't coach their kid, I would love for their kid to be in some sort of ice sport.
