Had a dealer approach me with $30K offer, have a corporate provided vehicle that’s not going anywhere.
I will miss the truck but really not at a position in life to collect cars since this one now sits except for a Sunday drive.
What would you let it go for?
My employment is project based, I have a new two year project that will relocate me to a region I’ve always wanted to live.
My employer will provide a vehicle, fuel, travel expenses at cost and housing in the location I’ve always wanted to live. 3 of 4 weeks each month I will drive five hours, take an afternoon of meetings, stay overnight, have meetings in the morning before returning home the next day, maybe an occasional two night stay.
With the benefits considered, I am ready to take this one on but looking to best situate my self for the long days on the road.
How do you prepare for long stretches on the road, how do you keep your self comfortable for such a long and recurring drive.
I am not stranger to long drives and road trips but recurring aspect of this project has me a bit concerned my body will begin to feel this before to long. Maybe I should find a subreddit for truckers.
