Maybe an unpopular opinion… but I think David Coverdale was always a much better singer than Gillan and Plant.

An oppositional conversation style (OCS) is a communication pattern where a person habitually disputes, corrects, or challenges whatever you say. Regardless of the topic or how small your statement is, they frame their response in opposition to make you feel wrong and them feel right

What’s the most polite way to address an employee’s body odor issue?
I am flooded with complaints by others who have to work in proximity with this guy. He works for me as a delivery dispatcher and is great at his job, but really has b.o. to the point of nausea for others.
It’s breath and body. Just foul.
Conversations have been had and still no improvement.
Hate to think I have to write up an employee for hygiene, but wow.

I think Motley Crue and KISS both get their bawls broken a bit too much about their alleged lack of musicianship.
Individual musical virtuosity was never really the point with either band.
That said, having seen both bands live multiple times, the sheer on-stage spectacle was always worth the price of admission.
The ongoing narratives and whining about Gene and Nikki being less than stellar bass players is particularly stupid. So what?
Entertaining for decades, and that’s what they were going for and excelled at.

Name some 80’s Hair Metal albums that were great but suffered a bit as a result of production values.
This is one for me. I thought Simmons (as usual) was out of this depth as a producer. Whether at his direction or whatever they tried to go for a more raw/heavy sound than their previous effort. For me it fell short. Tinny sounding guitars despite the layering, drums just drowned in reverb hell, and Jamie’s vocals somehow sounding like they were mixed for a totally different batch of songs.
All that aside, I do still love this album. The songs were there. The playing was there indeed. Just a lousy stack of production issues.

Question about air fresheners
Does anyone have any success with using car air fresheners (non aerosol of course) that don’t trigger an IID? Maybe the Little Tree hanging ones?
