3rd party Hue remote control

I’m looking for a remote control to operate the Hue lights in my bedroom. I have wall-switches in every room (friends of hue senic) but in my bedroom I’d also like to have a remote control so I can operate the lights from my bed.

Philips themselves only sell the dimmer switch remote thing which looks ugly and feels cheap, plus they have some awkwardly shaped remotes. I’m looking for a regular TV-style remote control, in black, that allows me to dim a few sets of light and maybe select a scene or two.

You’d think this shouldn’t be too hard but I can’t seem to find anything. Does this really not exist?

Good spot to watch the eclipse

When the solar eclipse happens on Wednesday the sun is only 7° above the horizon. This means that to be able to see it you need a spot with a view unobstructed by buildings and trees.

What are some good spots to observe it from in the Enschede area?

Auto updating chrome without starting it (macOS)

I only occasionally use Chrome for testing. Our company MDM, however, gets grumpy when I haven't applied the daily Chrome security patches.

Is there a way to automatically update Chrome when it's not running, something I can run as a daily automated task so I don't have to deal with it manually. It seems like the auto-update feature doesn't actually auto update unless you open Chrome.

Does the G6 Pro Entry support 2-way video?

Since it has a display, if I answer the doorbell from my phone does the G6 pro entry support 2-way video?
