Train your core
Strong core is a reason why players like MJ could do such a dynamic movement mid air. Js simply training your vert can get you dunking but to do more diverse move in air core is essential

It’s simple float dribble to side left or right if you got the angle low base shoulder to the hip drive forward. If they catch up and stop you crossover or spin move. If they don’t react js pull up jump shot. Basketball is a game that offense is easier than defense. Unless you’re getting double teamed or getting guarded by a guy that’s way much taller and athletic than you this is always going to work.
It’s not really a shooting related one but why does kids now day want to shoot like Steph? Yes I know he the best shooter in the world, but doesn’t his form looks so “effortless”. Like I might just being an unc but back in my days every one wanted to mimic “two motion form” of Ray Allen Kobe Bryant and other classic shooting forms. It’s all personal thing about thinking which one is cool and which ones not but I don’t get it. This might sound dumb but I feel disappointed when those jacked high school kids create setpoint around their chin, when they are capable of shooting it from their forehead. It sounds like bs and it is a bs but just wondering. What’s so attractive about curry’s form?
I’ve been debating between these two for few days now and I can’t choose which one is better. Like I can’t they both look great. I know colourways are personal but can yall choose for me.
I play off the ball catch and shoot it works during the first half but when it reaches around the 3rd my mark seems to know what I’m going to do. I don’t feel like I’m getting tired but it’s harder to fake out the opponent with off the ball. Any tips on how to fake out opponents in off the ball?
My favourite moves are btl one dribble pull up and jab stab pumpfake shots(from 3 and midrange) moves are pretty consistent but I only got these two so it’s really predictable. Which move or variants should I learn?
Thx
As shown in the video I have a huge stop between my setpoint and release. How can I shorten or get rid of the stop? Also My release arm keeps go down after I shoot is there anyway way to fix it?
I am really comfortable with sequencing my shots and U can shoot from 3 effortlessly but I have a slight stop when my ball is in my setpoint before my leg extends, is there anyway to flow it out? Any drills or tips?
Is he worth enhancing?
I’ve heard lots of player saying use your legs but I’m not sure when to. I did some research and found out some coaches saying you wait until your arm is at your set point(going under the ball) and than you use the leg but this feels like I’m wasting my energy I created with my arms when I wait until I go under the ball. Also I saw the coaches shooting in slow and it seems like he was starting to extend a leg before his arm came to setpoint. So I tried to start using my leg right before my arm and ball is in my setpoint but this doesn’t helps too. When do I use my leg?
Which one should I get. I personally like actual player Westbrook but it seems like he is not that good. Which one is the best? It’s better when it requires low enhancement. Also I prefer a scorer
So I’ve learned that ball moves first to the set point and than the leg attaches. But I don’t get when do I attach the leg so the ball doesn’t stop relative to the ground.
I want to address the ongoing debate surrounding the N-word from a perspective focused on true racial equality and practical language evolution. While I respect all backgrounds and completely reject racism, the current social rules around this word create a racial double standard that is ultimately counterproductive. Historically, the word was used to degrade Black people during slavery and segregation. However, language naturally evolves over time, a process known as semantic shift. Today, through global media and hip-hop, the modern variant of the word has overwhelmingly shifted into a casual term of camaraderie equivalent to 'bro' or 'friend.'
By keeping this word strictly taboo for non-Black individuals while it is simultaneously broadcast billions of times a day in popular culture, society creates a 'forbidden fruit' effect. In psychology, making a word the ultimate social taboo gives it immense power. Actual racists rely on this exact taboo; they use the word precisely because society has agreed it carries nuclear emotional weight. If we instead desensitize and universalize the word, it loses its shock value, rendering it completely useless as a weapon for intentional hatred.
Furthermore, expecting young people of all races to sing along to top-charting music while enforcing a strict racial barrier on speaking the lyrics is pragmatically impossible. If our goal is a post-racial society where rules apply equally to everyone regardless of skin color, then setting speech restrictions based entirely on ancestry actively reinforces racial divisions. It is impossible to erase a word that is already deeply embedded in mainstream culture. The most effective way forward is to allow everyone to adopt its modern, friendly context—removing its historical sting, stripping racists of their power, and treating all speakers equally
I’ve watched some Mike Dunn videos and found out that he kind of release the ball after the leg is extended fully. I’m not sure if I have to extend my legs and arms in the same time or legs first arms second. If it is legs first arms second what is the right time to release? Right before the leg is fully extended? Or as soon as the leg is fully extended
What do yall think so far my only SS is Prime LeBron and Haliburton.
