Broccoli Sprouts vs dehydrated powdered form?

Broccoli Sprouts vs dehydrated powdered form?

I tried antibiotics. I got 5 days in before I developed a reaction to amoxicillin. I have felt a little bit better and have been able to eat more foods since stopping. I have a prescription for Pylera but I REALLLLLLY do not want to take it. I got me some broccoli sprouts this morning, “wild about sprouts” brand and there’s SO much of the little white fuzzy things. How do I know it’s not actually mold and it’s not going to make me sick? I’ve also seen this powered form on Amazon and was curious about it. Please give me honest opinions. I have lost a lot of weight with this so I don’t have time to deal with people who are just spoke people for brands or lying. I have a lot of other chronic illness that make antibiotics extremely difficult for me because I react so badly to them (MCAS). Please let me know. I’m taking mankua honey already as well.

Should I try second treatment or wait for retest?

Background- prior to treatment (only made it 5 days in) I had sustained tachycardia, high blood pressure, loss of appetite, couldn’t sleep because heart rate was so high. After I stopped my first treatment (HDDT, reaction to Amox) I have started feeling better. My heart rate & blood pressure are normal, I’m able to eat, I’m able to sleep. The weird sensations in my stomach are lessening day by day. I was taking 3 times my heart medication to control my heart rate, and now I’m back down to my normal dose prior to stomach issues.

My GI gave me quad therapy to start yesterday since I only made it 5 days in my last one but I feel like my body is showing that I MAY have gotten rid of it. I have had the most hellish 2 months because this bacteria has made me so sick and I’ve been thinking about it 24/7. I’ve almost went to psych ward so many times because I keep obsessing over it. Im really wanting to give my mind a break if im feeling better because i really think i was close to psychosis thinking about the bacteria, thinking about meds, thinking about side effects. I was spending HOURS, literally all day researching meds and Reddit and fb. It’s been 4 days since i stopped my HDDT and I have only felt better each day. Obviously if I started having the same issues again, I would start the treatment but I feel like there may be a chance it’s gone 😭

Quad Treatment, does this look right?

I am so sensitive to all meds and I have POTS & SVT. I am scared shitless to start this 😭 if I wasn’t so ill from the h pylori (weight loss) I would not even be considering treating it honestly. I already failed high dose dual therapy because of a delayed sensitivity to amoxicillin and I was tolerating that just fine until the end of day 5 😭

Voquezna + Amoxicillin feeling flu-ish

I spoke too soon yesterday about feeling better after my amoxicillin. Each dose yesterday, I started feeling worse and worse. The night time dose I was really hot, sweaty, & lightheaded. It was day 5 for me. I’ve been too scared to take today’s dose because I don’t want to feel worse.

Voquezna + Amoxicillin Dual Stopped Early?

Has anyone stopped this treatment early and eradicated the bacteria? I am tolerating the amoxicillin just fine, I actually feel really good after taking each dose. But I’m having the weirdest time with the Voquezna, I don’t even know how to describe it. My morning dose puts me into like a haze and then my nighttime dose makes me so tired but with horrible anxiety? I’m starting day 5 and I am dreading the Voquezna so much.

Developed cough DURING treatment? Normal?

Has anyone developed a cough while doing treatment? Prior to starting, I would feel a lil cough here or there when I over ate. I’m 3 days into my antibiotics and starting to cough a lot? It kind of starts as a tickle in my throat but once I start coughing, it’s like stuck there and I can’t talk without getting the urge to cough. I never cough (even when I had double pneumonia I didn’t cough) so it’s bugging me out.

Altered Treatment Regimen to increase tolerability?

Has anyone altered their treatment regimen to increase tolerability? I know this is not advised but has anyone done it and still gotten rid of h pylori? I am on 3000mg of amoxicillin + 40mg of vonoprazan and after the second dose can already feel that it’s way too much for my body. It made me insanely tired and felt like I couldn’t keep my eyes open. If you did, what were you on & what did you do? Again, I understand this is not advised but I’m just looking for others experiences.

Allergic Reaction to Amoxicillin??

I was put in Amoxicillin 1000mg 3x a day for H Pylori. I took my first dose and noticed my legs hurt and seemed heavy. I took my second dose and within 1.5 hours, my heart started beating weird (not fast but felt like it was fluttering), then I suddenly got so tired I couldn’t keep my eyes open. I ended up sleeping for like 8 hours. When I woke up, I felt a weird pressure in the back of my head and felt super faint. I was still extremely tired at this point, I had my pulse ox in and my oxygen as 93 before I even went back to sleep. I’m 12 hours post the last dose but still feeling a little dizzy?

Too sensitive to antibiotics!!!!

I only made it through 2 doses of my 1000mg 3 times a day amoxicillin and I don’t think I can continue. The first dose was okay but the second, within 1.5 hours my heart started beating weird and I got so tired I couldn’t keep my eyes open. I fell asleep for like 8 hours and when I woke up I felt so faint & dizzy. I’m like 12 hours post the last dose and I keep having the faint feeling and the sudden tiredness.

Weight loss?

Has anyone experienced weight loss from h pylori? I started at 135 and I’m down to like 113 after 3 months. It’s taken so long to get diagnosed and long to even get my antibiotic. I’m still in a healthy BMI for now but it’s scaring me :( I just have no appetite but I also have gastritis.
