Alternatives for eggs and dairy that would work for a broke college student?

I'm a college student in the US who relies on the dining hall mostly, but I do have a communal kitchen. I'm not interested in going fully vegan for a variety of reasons (I fully respect and support vegans though, just a personal choice), but I am aware of how harmful the dairy + egg industry can be, so I want to try and avoid helping it.

Are there any cheap or easy to make alternatives for scrambled eggs, milk, and yogurt (where most of my consumption comes from)? The main issues I've run into are that oat or soy etc milk is super expensive whereas normal milk is really cheap, and I'm trying to eat healthy so I eat a lot of eggs and yogurt because they're readily available at the dining hall. I also am super busy so I don't have a ton of time to devote to cooking.

Is this even possible to do? Sorry if this isn't the right place to ask, just figured it was worth a shot.

Edit: tysm for all the help!! I got a lot of good ideas and I think it's doable for me :)

I feel like I can't talk to anybody about having gender dysphoria because I'm not trans

I was assigned female at birth, I identify as a woman, but puberty made things go sideways. I have facial hair, high testosterone, and other "male" characteristics, which also led to not being treated like a girl for a large portion of time. I lurk in a lot of online transfem spaces because it's helpful for tips and it feels nice to see other women dealing with the same stuff, but I feel guilty because I'm not a trans woman and I don't want to intrude on their spaces (which is why I only lurk). But I don't know where else to find people who are dealing with the exact same stuff. I just wish more people understood what it feels like to be cis and have dysphoria.

Trying to remap my Nintendo Switch joycon buttons - it says it's working but the buttons aren't actually remapped?

I'm trying to play Super Mario Party, which requires disconnected/removed from the Switch joycons (not sure of what it's actually called) and needs you to use the SL/SR buttons to start the game. The SL/SR buttons on both of my joycons are broken, so I tried to remap them to different buttons like the minus button and the left bumper. When I try to remap them, it says it worked and it shows the little wrench icon, but they aren't actually remapped. When I do the input test it shows as the original buttons, and when I boot up a different game and use the remapped buttons, they work as the original buttons and not the SL/SR buttons.

Is there any way to fix this, or alternatively, is there any way to play Super Mario Party without using the SL/SR joycon buttons? I don't care about using the buttons otherwise, I just want to play Super Mario Party, and I can't afford to buy new joycons rn.

Edit: I'm a fucking idiot. I was remapping the buttons wrong. I'm going to bed.

Navigating coed uni dorms as a hijabi

Assalamualaikum,

I'm moving into a dorm for university. The dorms are coed, the rooms themselves are same-sex only but both men and women live in the same hall. I don't have any way to not live in a dorm - my parents live in an extremely rural area, multiple hours away from any university. It's really difficult to get an apartment (even with a roommate) where my uni is, so we decided that doing dorms was the best option. I'm a revert of several years, my family wants me to be modest but they have a much looser definition of modesty and I honestly don't think maintaining modesty in a dorm has even occurred to them.

I'm worried about managing things like the shower or having to run to the bathroom suddenly or always having to make wudu in a public bathroom or waking my roommate up when I pray fajr or even just the daily struggle of having to put on my hijab and make sure I'm modest just for getting breakfast. Have any other sisters faced this struggle? How did you deal with it?
