BURN-IN
Acrylic on paper, 14x17 inches. My first attempt at creating abstraction from a known artwork. It photographs brighter than it is, it's actually a little muddy on purpose.
Painted mostly with a bamboo chopstick, a plastic card, palette knives and one round brush for the flower centers.
Can I repair VHS decks?
I have four VHS decks for rent in my store and so far, none of them have come back broken. If one does get broken, will I be able to repair it on the repair desk?
I found an almost completely buried shipwreck
I haven't dug it out yet, but this is the most obscured shipwreck I've ever seen. I only noticed it rowing by because of the few wood blocks sticking out in the corner, and I could see them from the water.
In Retro Rewind this movie would be called "Screaming For My Bread"
It's an old Japanese rental VHS, apparently
Sparklehorse! 🥰
I've been a fan of Sparklehorse since their debut back in the 90s, and today is the first time I've ever heard them played on the radio, anywhere. Thanks to Craig for warming this American listener's heart!
Did this sculpture used to be silver or gray?
Am I crazy, or didn't this sculpture (on the campus of Foxbury Institute in Britechester) used to be a metallic silver color? My Sim is just a day or two from graduation, and I swear it was never orange before.
