Parents Whirlpool WTW4957PW0 starts draining when wash cycle begins
Hello Appliance repair peeps! My brother who lives with our parents called me today and told me that there was an issue with our washer. Our washer is the Whirlpool WTW4957PW0, bro says they got it in 2023. My brother sent the video above. I don't live with them, so I can't help them in person, my father and mother aren't very tech-savvy and my father has arthritis. I was thinking of calling the support number and asking them to send a technician or something. I hope that it may just be a syphon issue and just adjusting the drain hose would fix it. However, I wanted to see others recommendation and thoughts.
