I’m thrilled to have a lot of new growth, but I have about 4 inches of new baby hairs all over my head and it’s making my hair look so frizzy. My hair is 2a/2b, very fine and I can’t use much product because it weighs it down and looks bad. Styling the baby hairs like Black girls or those with similar hair types isn’t gonna work for mine at all. I can maybe get the baby hairs into double French/Dutch braids, but it’s still pretty frizzy and I can’t do double braids every day. Smoothing the hairs down with gel helps a little, but my hair can’t tolerate the amount of gel needed to work any better. My state’s summer humidity levels of 5000% aren’t helping. Any ideas?

Recently read {the heir by Sophia travers} and yknowwww…didn’t realize the stutter was a thing for me. Any suggestions? Really looking for a 4/5 spice level, but anything else is optional.

Things I’d love if they were included, but don’t have to be: enemies to lovers, intense slowww burn, hate fuck, he’s aggressive in bed and she’s into it, both POV’s, and (I have no idea what this is called) they both are honestly kind of a bit much for everyone else, but match each other’s freak. Examples of this are {hate me like you mean it} or Michael/holly from the office, heathcliff/catherine in wuthering heights (but minus the legitimately fucked up parts of that book, it’s great book but not in a hot way)

Would also strongly prefer if they’re both around their 30’s/lateish 20’s but really any age is fine as long as they’re not in high school.

Not wanting to be too picky with my preferences, so just no cheating by the MMC/FMC. Not a fan of DARK dark romance or violence, but I can handle it. A little dark is fine.

I’m looking for the manual for a 2015 Nissan NV200, but can’t find anything on my usual sites I go to for regular books. Am pretty lost looking because I’m not familiar with anything car related, so it’s hard to know where to look when you’re brand new to the entire subject. Any suggestions?

I’m confused about the eloping tendency that some autistics have. Everything I’ve read makes it seem like only higher-level folks do it, but as soon as I read about eloping I was like, “Oh so that’s the name for what I’ve always done.” but I’m not sure because I’m level 1 autistic and probably on the “higher-functioning” end of that (even though I definitely have support needs and cannot function like NT’s, my symptoms usually seem less severe than average level 1? Idk) Do any of you elope? Is there a different name for what I tend to do?

Examples:
-Always running off to be alone as a kid, didn’t know why but just had the urge to get the fuck outta there and it was impossible to resist
-Family vacations as a teen (and adult lol) I’ve always had a lot of moments where I’ve thought, “I need to leave immediately” and then dipped out as fast as I could to go anywhere my family wasn’t, but it felt different than normal teenage independence of just wanting to do your own thing
-My fam goes to a corn maze every year (it’s a midwest thing where they cut a literal maze into a cornfield, and you walk around in the cornfield on the different paths until you find your way out). There’s a running joke that at some point, they lose me. I just fade to the back of the group and then immediately make myself lost to everyone else. They think I’m messing with them, but I actually just run through the corn until I can’t hear them anymore and then sit down hiding for awhile.
-I had an incident as a little kid where I dipped out of church at night and no one realized I was missing. I ran through a nearby construction area and fell into a deep hole full of freezing water and almost drowned, but I guess I made it out. Anyway that part’s not as relevant, but I just remember running and it feeling the exact same way as the other examples

It’s just this intense urge to leave, get away from what’s going on (even if it’s not bad, just overwhelming) as fast as possible. It also feels important that no one knows where I’m going, I just need to get AWAY. I usually quick walk to avoid attention, but if I’m alone I run. I feel the pressure diminishing the farther away I get, and then I just hang out by myself until it feels okay to come back and find everyone again.

I’m struggling trying to figure out what to do to protect my hair but also look cute. Have a beach trip coming up, the last couple years I’ve struggled with my hair because the salt water tangles it so much and I love to be in the water constantly, acting a fool, high energy the whole week. A standard braid or bun doesn’t stay put. I have to undo it from the braid for a few hours in the afternoons to wash and let it dry out, and it’s a lot of work to French braid my hair so it stays braided in the water, detangle after unbraiding all those small wet strands, and then do it all again after it air dries.

I have a swim cap, but I don’t want to just wear that all day because it’s not a cute look and uncomfortable. My best resort currently is a ponytail at the top of my head, which is the braided. But it gets heavy af in the water and pulls on my scalp. It also gets super frizzy because I have fine 2b hair and it gives me quite the halo of tiny hairs standing up all around my head. I do coat my hair in coconut oil before putting it up for the ocean, which gives it some grip and keeps it moisturized and less prone to tangles.

I feel like I’m missing something. Is there some beach hairstyle you guys are all doing that I don’t know about?
