I had no experience with guys, so my best friend set me up with a guy (23M) she barely knew. She said he was perfect for me and such a good guy. I went out with him a few times, but he treated me badly and made so many hurtful comments. Whenever I tried to leave, he would hurt himself so I could stay.

I booked a hotel room for a sleepover with my best friend. I told her I was scared he might show up, and she reassured it won’t happen. He did show up, and she wasn’t there. I begged her to come and get me away from him and she didn’t, even though she was a block away. Her excuse was that she had to finish her university work. He held me down whenever I tried to leave and did some stuff to me despite telling him to stop multiple times. She apologized later, but it made me question our friendship. I’m not sure how to move forward in our friendship after this.

My dad has such an interesting life story, and I wanna document it through oral history. I’m planning on walking him through old historical sites so it can trigger old memories.

I’ve never conducted an interview before, so what are some tips do you have? I’d also appreciate any additional advice to make it more meaningful.

I also wanna preserve it long term so it becomes a lasting part of my family’s history. What are some ways I can properly organize, store, and protect it?

I’m a 21 year old female who’s looking to go on an adventurous quest. I want to travel somewhere unexpected and learn a hobby for a certification that I will never use, but I’m not sure what. Do you have any recommendations?

My favorite movies are Psycho, Eyes Without a Face and Rosemary’s Baby. I’m looking for suggestions for older horror films, preferably from 1920s to 1970s. I’m open to movies from any country or language.
