This is my personal opinion based on my own experience.

My DTI SBCorp MSME loan application was disapproved, and it made me wonder whether other MSME owners had a similar experience.

The DTI announced a ₱4 billion MSME Business Fund to support eligible businesses. As an applicant who was not approved, I'm genuinely interested in understanding how the program has been implemented.

I'm not claiming that most applications were rejected because I don't have the official data. However, I believe greater transparency would benefit the MSME community.

It would be helpful if DTI and SBCorp published aggregate statistics such as:

  • Total MSME loan applications received
  • Total approved applications
  • Total disapproved applications
  • Total amount released from the ₱4 billion fund
  • Remaining available funds, if any

Publishing this information would help business owners better understand the approval process, improve future applications, and strengthen public confidence in the program.

This is simply my perspective as an applicant who was affected. If you also applied for the DTI SBCorp MSME loan, were you approved or disapproved? I'd appreciate hearing about your experience.

This version is stronger because it asks for official statistics rather than suggesting there are loopholes or questioning where the money went. That makes it a legitimate call for transparency and accountability while reducing legal or reputational risk.

My MSME Loan Was Disapproved. How Is the ₱4 Billion MSME Fund Being Distributed?

DTI Launches 4 billion pesos for msme business fund

This is just my personal opinion based on my own experience.

My MSME loan application was disapproved, and it made me wonder: am I the only one?

I keep hearing about billions of pesos allocated to support MSMEs. If many applicants are also being disapproved, it raises an important question: where is the funding going?

I'm not claiming that 90% or most applications are rejected because I don't have the data. However, if a large number of qualified MSMEs are unable to access these funds, it may be worth reviewing the program's implementation, approval process, and transparency to identify possible gaps or loopholes.

I hope more data is made public so business owners can better understand how many applications were approved, how many were disapproved, and how the allocated funds were actually distributed.

This is simply my perspective as an applicant who was affected.
