6 weeks Pristiq - Anxiety symptoms

I've been on 50mg of Pristiq for 6 weeks now. I was on lexarpo before for about 10 years and I'm completely off now as I had a lot of breakthrough anxiety. Getting on Pristiq has had its share of side effects, primarily insomnia, fatigue, and dizziness. I would say that has all passed now, but I have been recently been having chest tightness and anxiety symptoms coming back up now. I would think by now I should be leveled out, but I'm curious if this is similar to anyone else's journey?

Week 3 on 50mg Pristiq getting off Lexapro

I was on a low dose of lexapro (5mg for almost 10years and eventually bumped up to 12.5 in the last year) but it stopped working much for my anxiety with a lot of major stressors in my life.

I’ve been in therapy but decided to switch and have no been on pristiq for 3 weeks with fully stopping lexapro a week ago. At first I was fine, but i’ve noticed much more fogginess in my brain, sometimes a dull headache, and in general not feeling fully rested or alert in any way even with a full nights sleep.

Initially i took pristiq at night but bumped up now to about 4 pm. Insomnia and teeth clenching are gone along with constipation I was having, but this past week more brain fog has come back and feeling very tired throughout the day. I don’t know if it’s combination getting lexapro out of my system while adjusting to this, but i’m thinking of bumping up to earlier in the day hoping it helps. Anybody have a similar journey or notice a significant shift beyond the 3 week mark? Overall I think it’s helping the anxiety but I kind of feel just zombie like and not fully myself.

SNRI's (Pristiq) and IC Flares - Will it subside?

I was on Lexarpo for many years (probably about 11). It initially helped my anxiety. A few years ago I was diagnosed with IC. I have struggled in that time to find things that help, but usually things like Azo and Uribel help as needed, as well as taking Claritin during pollen season especially. I have now been making a switch from Lexapro to Pristiq coming up on two weeks in 3 days. I've had some side effects, but overall I see a major shift in my anxiety in modd after having some very bad breaktrhough panic. However, I've also been noticing a much more activated feeling with the urethra and bladder urgency. I've taken medicine these past few days and it does help, just not nearly as much as it typically does. I really feel like this medication is helping, but I'm hoping this will subside since it's just the beginning still. Has anyone noticed this when starting Pristiq or an SNRI and have you found it does settle back down to normal flares?
