TBF I feel like plenty of creators just pretend that they legitimately have thalassophobia. So many people claim that when playing the game yet so little express emotions that properly reflect that view. Except for this hidden gem, convinces the thalassophobia presence and it's really fun to watch.

If FTX and other organizations did tackle the Elsagate (and other problematic content) problem back then and managed to reduce a chunk of it (around 2017), what's stopping them now from doing the same now when this kind of content plague is back?

The Hycean from SN2 reminds me of those floating abstract alien designs from some Alien life documentaries. For example the "Kite" alien from Extraterrestrial 2005 doc. These aliens have for me a distinct charm, same for Hycean. IF you told me they come from those docs, I would believe you, lol.

Wanna discuss, since the new material reshaping the Muttaburrasauru's head, its crest is frequently designed as a thick, round, solid "dome". Unless I missed some anatomic info, wouldn't it work to make this crest just an inflatable organ, that still could deflate into "less balloonish" shape?

Images from:

PALEODGY (notice in the animation how just a tiny front of snout is able to inflate/deflate than the red colored crest regions)

Third image by me just to showcase what I mean.

Am I the only guy who thinks that Sea Treader's turd could be used as a fertilizer to IDK speed up alien plant growth process? It would make sense. Bioreactor fuel does make sense too, it just doesn't hurt to not have just a single usage.

What would be your expectations of the pet species for SN2? Aside of the obvious interracting animations should they have some kind of abilities? Like getting stuff in narrow tunnels where players won't fit similar to Spy Penglings? So they could have a more significant role?

Mojang you must do better. YES YOU'RE ABLE TO ACHIEVE GOOD FEATURES AS WELL but the chunk of the questionable decisions do indeed hold you back severely.

Ah yes the game trope of eggs having traits similar to a certain creature yet it's not identifiable till hatch. Just meming btw I love this game.

During the Wild Update MC live the lost Glare mob was mentioned to be able to help light up dark places. Not just finding them. What if the Glare was the source of a new light feature?

Source of the claim BTW

How about that light stuff was something like a "Will-Of-The-Wisp"? Glare would go in the dark area and light it up with placed Wisp. The Wisp could just function as a not solid block and perhaps having some moving GIF texture to add some personality and depth.

Maybe you could order or perhaps feed the Glare with some item like Glow Berries to trigger the Wisp placing task.

OFC this is just a brainstorming. We don't know if the Glare will return but we got Copper Golem that got utility buffs with its chests gimmick so not impossible either.

As a fan of Brain Corals and their ability to be manually grown in farmbeds or tanks I'd love to see some similar way being implemented to the SN2 equivalent: Oxygen Tunic. Perhaps growing it from a small body chunk that would regen into another instance or to breed it as PDA claims it as an animal.

▲ 49 r/Dinosaurs+1 crossposts

You see, certain extinct dinosaurs are supported to be iridescent, like some birds. Now, how plausible would it be to design an iridescent pycnofibers in a pterosaur? Cuz, they're cousins of dinos, and some theories even say, that they both have plumage from the same archosaur ancestor.
