Is my zombie series idea good?

Do Monsters Make Us Monsters?

A global zombie virus outbreak rapidly collapses society. Governments fall and cities die. Survivors are forced into strained communities where ideology, morality, survival instinct, and more collide. The story unfolds through rotating POVs, each representing a different philosophy of survival.

Gamma is a zombie that is actually sentient.

Hope is a teen girl who is immune to the virus.

Sheriff is a self sacrificing former sheriff who treats Hope as his daughter.

Ryker is a former high school gym teacher who becomes an ideological leader.

Shanna Is a martial artist survivor who prietly joins the group and forms a bond with Sheriff.

Parker Gatz is a former stage manager who applies production-level thinking to survival.

Reverend Silas Boone is a retired preacher who isolates himself around a barn containing hundreds of restrained undead, including his wife.

Varek is a high tech manipulator of zombies who has built his own super suit of sorts.

The Tale of Dick Tater!

An asteroid hits earth. Humans are infected by a strange virus that turns them into something near a zombie.

Then, the asteroid also gives some people super powers.

Eighteen-year-old country boy Dick Tater wakes up with extreme strength in a world that’s falling apart.

No costume. No training. No grand purpose.

Just a bad situation that keeps getting worse.

As roaming adventurers, failed experiments, and self-declared “heroes” mess with what’s left of civilization, Dick becomes the one people call when nobody else works—whether he likes it or not.

His solution to all this crap?

Beat the problem senseless.

Drag what’s left of it to the gelatinous Biocell: a strange alien mass of pods left behind by the asteroid that can imprison anything… and secretly changes what it holds.

But even it can’t hold some things.

Like Raggnar a deformed, genius clone born from his obsession with control and lack of government. Scaled, horned, and a monster with a mind sharp enough to rival anyone left alive, Raggnarr isn’t trying to survive the apocalypse.

It’s an experiment.
And he’s very interested in the one person who doesn’t seem to fit into that experiment.

He didn’t choose a symbol to represent himself—everyone chose him as that symbol.

Because in a world “slowly” mutating into something unrecognizable…

The only thing more over the top than the apocalypse—

is the guy trying to punch his way through it, hordes of zombies, and whatever else gets in his ****ing way.

Captain Electron (civilian name: Joel Current) didn't become a hero out of trauma or revenge. He became one because if you have the power to help, you should help. A high tech device he was working on at work unlocked his innate superhuman gene (by creating a specific frequency). Now he can shoot and channel electricity. So now, what's worse? Having to deal with the worst day of your day everyday, or having to deal with the fact that people are dying because you aren't helping?

Lucas Current is Joel’s younger brother. He is an alien. Despite his age, he is more mature (in some ways) than his brother. He can physically and mentally adapt to situations due to his alien biology. He isn’t a full time hero, but helps Joel time to time.

The Teen was an average teenage boy that got a form like the Hulk. He was in his parents' car that accidentally crashed into a government truck carrying mutated animals and he was bit by one and gained his monstrous reptile like transformation mode. He isn’t a hero. He’s a self proclaimed slacker and monster. Don’t expect him to autograph your shirt.

The Masochist is a man that can mirror any pain inflicted on himself on an enemy. He is deformed.
He was part of a short takeover in Europe that was quickly took care of by The World Government (yes you saw that right.) He gained his powers during the revival through mysterious means/events.
He can mirror any pain inflicted on himself on an enemy. He is deformed.
He looks up to Captain Electron and Lucas.
He is a villain that aligns himself with heroes.
The Masochist is creepy, gross, self righteous, and self destructive.
They first find him in an American battle against an alien invasion.
He turns around and says, "Arnold Freeman at your service. But you two can call me The Masochist." He's the series' token villain protagonist.

Ultima: She is a super strong heroine who is grounded. She reminds Joel and Lucas of a normal life. She eventually gets with Joel and they have a daughter and a son. She has red hair. She is country.

Stellar Dude: He is a hippie surfer dude space hero who eventually uses questionable methods to stop evil. Joel and him were once best friends, but they eventually became enemies, and then uneasy friends.

Feel free to ask questions!
