Years ago I had a Sopranos dream that was so funny I woke up crying laughing and idk why I never thought to share it here.

The dream was that it was Paulie's birthday and Vito had gotten him a present. Paulie opened it and it was a Wizard of Oz soundtrack CD. But Paulie could see from looking at it that Vito had previously been licking it and rubbing it on his chest (it had tongue marks and chest hair stuck to it) and that was what made Paulie realize that Vito was gay.

When he opened it and saw, he said "Da fuck??" and I was seeing flashbacks of Vito licking it and rubbing it on his chest. And then I woke up laughing so hard there were streams of tears running down my face.

I'm wondering, for those of you who are advanced in pure mathematics, if you noticed a significant change in your general logical reasoning skills outside of mathematics after you became proficient at proofs? I'm new to pure math, just learning number theory and combinatorics right now as my introduction to proof-based math. But I'm feeling like the reasoning skills you use when writing proofs could be applied to many things besides math. Do you guys feel like you can see a significant difference between your mind and the way you think about things before developing these mathematical skills versus after?

Do I make pork bao buns with carrots and celery on the side and feel moderately good about my decision, or do I engage in a sinful hedonistic hysteria-laden fit of ecstasy as I pummel McDonalds burgers into my face hole with rapturous abandon? Thanks

Death Note is one of my favorite shows of all time. I'm always worried to check out a live action version of an anime because they so often get butchered. Is this one respectful of the original and worth a watch, or just another cash grab?
