He's adorable, isn't he? I can't believe how much he likes hanging out on my shoulder. His name is Gatsby.

I'm more of a casual birder, anyone know what could cause this behaviour beyond my guess of something to do with territory/my anthropomorphized perspective of bullying? Is this normal for geese and swan interactions? The swan was the bigger bird so I'm not sure how it could feel threatened. As far I could tell, there were not any other swans in the area. Everything was open grass behind me so I don't think it was nesting related.
