Birthday Gift Venting

I know that this should be such a non-issue, but I am nearing the end of my rope with these free birthday gifts. I am sick and tired of clients taking 5 minutes of my time for me to explain what every single thing is in each of the boxes, only for them to not even pay attention. I am sick and tired of explaining to clients that “sold out” means we do not have it. I am sick and tired of clients getting angry with me because we don’t have an online exclusive gift in stock. I think that these free birthday gifts give clients a massive sense of entitlement.

A, A+, and A++ volume stores: what are your daily goals like?

Hello everyone!

I work in a small footprint C-volume store. Our daily goals during slow seasons range from around $12K-$14K during the week days, with $20K-$30K goals during weekends. During holidays, Black Friday, and SSE, our daily goals can push upwards of $50K or greater.

Since our location is so physically small, even just a rush of 50 people can make the entire store feel super cramped. I feel like our location would easily be a B volume if we had a larger footprint since it’s in a very popular mall.

But anyways, I think it’s really interesting to hear about life at other stores! If you have any cool stuff to share, I’m all ears!!

Dunkin syrup expiration question

I managed to get my hands on a sealed bottle of Dunkin syrup. The “use by” date is September 15th, which is a little over 5 weeks from now. I bought this with the intention of using it sparingly, not to consume in a little over a month 😅

My question is, does this seem like a “best by” date, and not an expiration date? I took a photo of the ingredient list, and it contains a preservative + no dairy or perishable items. If I keep this in the refrigerator and close the lid tightly, should I be safe to use past the date? I’m sure the quality of flavor will fall over time though.

Thank you for any help!!!

Access Hub is getting worse

Has anyone else been having a lot of trouble with Access Hub recently? It used to keep me logged in for a couple hours at least, now it’s multiple times per hour. When it’s slow, sometimes every time I go to open XStore, it prompts me to log in. I thought the whole point of Access Hub was to not make us log in every time 🙃

Found growing in pot soil in Massachusetts. Possible peanut?

Hello everyone! I know this might be weird to ask because it hasn’t fully sprouted yet. But I live in Massachusetts, and I’ve been digging through some soil in my potted plants to refresh it.

About 3/4 of the way down, I found this nut that has begun to sprout. It looks like a peanut, although I’m not fully convinced due to the fact that it was outside all winter long. It could be some sort of bulb… but I didn’t plant any bulbs.

Thank you for any help / ideas!
