A map showing all the "municipalities" of New York (Cities, Villages, Hamlets, CDPs) scaled based on their population. The formula used was sqrt(population) * 50.

I used the population data from every city/town in New York state to create a new skyline. Each "building" shows one city or town, the shape of the "building" is based on its borders and the height is based on its population.

I used QGIS, Blender, and Inkscape to create a "city skyline" out of scaled cities in New York State. I am very new to blender, but I think it turned out well.

This is a Google Trends map of states searching for the term "Weed whip". While “Weed whacker”, "Weed Eater" and "String Trimmers" are still the most popular thing to call it in Minnesota, "Weed Whip" is disproportionately used in Minnesota & Michigan. What term do you use?

The first part of a chart I am doing about books IN the Bible and books OUT of the Bible (Biblical Apochrypha). These are books which are a part of every Christian Canon.

Himalayan Salt today (the Salt Range Formation) originates from a section of the Proto-Thethyan Ocean which was closed off around 600 Ma from terranes. The area was near the equator which lead to rapid evaporation and the formation of the halite (rock salt). Today this salt is just exposed in Pakistan's "Salt Range" due to faulting, but the Salt Range Formation itself can be found in parts of Oman, Southern China, and Iran.
