Got the R professionally detailed.

Took the R into a local professional detail shop and had them do a full stage 1 / 1.5 paint correction and polish.

I picked my car up in mid-January this year, and I wasn’t able to fully see the condition of the clear-coat until recently with the nicer weather we’ve been having. I noticed the hood had a ton of swirl markings and clear coat damage as well as a large spot on the black trim of the rear wing. I’m assuming the dealership's detailers absolutely messed up the job when preparing the car for delivery… go figure.

Anyway, I took it in to get it professionally repaired, and now the car is immaculate, with a mirror-finish clear coat and a baby-bum-smooth paint feel. This is literally the best it will ever be lol. I can, however, do a good job maintaining it from here.

Anyway. She looks 🔥🔥🔥 now…. Until it rains on me the first time.

My Xbox 360 Game Collection

Finally took the time to sit down and alphabetize my collection tonight. Took the best photos I could when it was all sorted on the shelves.

324 games total.

I’ve spent 20 years collecting for the 360 since day 1 in 2005. It’s my favourite gaming console, and I still enjoy playing it frequently. You’ll notice some titles missing. I collect what I am interested in and enjoy. Although I feel like I have a pretty solid and well-rounded collection, I’m sure you’ll notice stuff missing and wonder why I haven’t got it. At this point if I don’t have it it’s likely because it’s just not my type of game.

There are several games I included that aren’t on the shelf atm, like my sealed copy of Blur, 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand, and Ultimate Alliance Gold. There are maybe 10-15 sealed copies of games in the collection and on the shelves in total; I will eventually get around to opening and playing them, but until then they are sealed. Test Drive Ferrari is currently in the console, so I keep the game box that’s in the console loose so I know what’s in it atm. I do have all the original packaging and boxes for the Forza Motorsport collector's editions as well, but I only keep the “play” discs loose for ease of use.

Aside from the games I also have an extensive collection of controllers and several working 360 consoles I keep hooked up, presently my 360 Slim and 360 E. I had 4 phat white systems over the years, but they all eventually red-ringed one way or another over time.

Anyway. Enjoy the collection, and comment on your favourite game if you see it.

It’s FBO k04-64, Unitronic tuned. I’ve owned it since new; ordered it in March 2012, delivered in May 2012.

It’s fully loaded for its year, the “Autobahn” trim level with all three option packs at the time (in Canada). DSG.

It’s got 166,000kms on it but has never seen rain or snow, so it still looks really mint.

The best 1/4 mile time it’s done was 13.2 @ 113 mph—a terrible 2.3 60 ft, but decently strong mph; if it could hook, it’d be in the 12s likely. It’s not fast compared to modern cars but still surprises people sometimes. I only take it out on nice nights; it sees maybe 3500kms a season now. I did most of the mileage on it in the first 6 years. I wish I hadn't, and it was lower kms still, but at the same time I’ve enjoyed every mile immensely.

It’s still strong, with no issues; all maintenance is done early and often. Timing chain, tensioner, water pump, carbon cleaning—you name it, I’ve done it. It’s all buttoned up.

I threw in some pics of the three R’s I’ve had as well. Presently have the MK8.5 Black Edition picked up in Jan this year. Great cars; I love them all and still love my MK6.
